Dec 14, 2017one of the few games that i wanted to play again after finishing it. 100% worth the money, modding support and more worlds are coming too!
Definitely something you should buy. -

Aug 28, 2019This game reaches what most platformers try, feel you have total control in your movements. Spectacular worlds, design, animation, art, level disign. Feels as good as any Mario game.
The only issue i have is with the camera, in non-open spaces doesn't work as it should. But is a MINOR issue. Not to the point to ruin the inmersion you have in the game. -

Nov 22, 2017I haven't played a platformer/collectathon this good since Banjo Kazooie!
With tight controls, beautiful and unique environments, clever level design, charming characters and a plethora of things to collect, this is definitely something any lover of platformers should consider picking up. It really is a wonderful experience. -

Oct 10, 2017Was really skeptical of the game as I played the Alpha, it didn't feel like it was going to be as fleshed out as I would have liked. However, I was completely proven wrong by the official release. Some of the most charming level design coupled with tight gameplay makes this a must play.
Also JonTron is in it so 10/10 -
Oct 11, 2017A Hat in time is very fun with an excellent understanding of what makes a platform good. The game visual looks good, the controls are tight and the overall tone is wonderful although if you are looking for a detailed lore heavy story this game is not for you.

Oct 13, 2017Sorry, no people don't get to vote a 0 because the game has an e-celeb they don't like it in. That's not a real reason and doesn't affect the game itself in any way whatsoever.

Oct 7, 2017It's a great game, no questions there. I just think it's sometimes too cheesy, and too childish in some way, and the fixation on Hat Kid is.. I dunnow... weird. Didn't like it. But anyway beautiful looking game with great polish.

Oct 13, 2017Hard to put this game down, I use to play Mario 64 all the time as a kid and it reminds me how good a platfomer can be. If you like mario your'll probably enjoy this game :) P.S. the time rift music is magic

Jan 24, 2018In the end, A Hat In Time features enough charm to overcome its shortcomings. If you can live with the unreliable camera, then you'll find a game that offers a pleasant platforming experience, tons of secrets to uncover, and a good amount of abilities to experiment with. The variety of environments and activities is appreciated, as are some of the breaks from platforming norms. The characters may be the main reason for playing the gamefrom beginning to end, just to see what they'll say or do next. For fans of platformers, A Hat In Time is well worth your time.

Jan 19, 2018A Hat in Time proudly doesn’t shy from showing its inspirations from the 3D platform classics while radiating its own unique personality thanks to charmingly designed worlds (although we could do with a bit more of them!). It is unfortunate then that precise jumping is never as… precise as it should be. Even though it may not hinder the enjoyment by much it is nevertheless a shortcoming in an otherwise especially enjoyable experience.

CD-ActionJan 10, 2018A great game from a genre that we see so rarely on PC. It’s not too demanding, but it’s pure joy to play, as it’s charming, cheerful, full of stuff to gather and uncover and does a lot to keep you engaged all the time. Not all levels were designed to the same high standard, but even in its weaker moments A Hat in Time is still good. At its best it really shines. [13/2017, p.60]
