    Pros:
    - Simple mechanics that form some surprisingly complex levels
    - Writing is better than it has any right to be for a puzzle game
    - Music is top notch and rather catchy
    - Honestly peak gameflow

    Cons:
    - Lost track of time during play, which is ironic really
    - Existential dread about the nature of quantum mechanics

I don't know how this game has gone unnoticed for as long as it has; it really is a gem.

It has only a few simple rules: you have a limited number of resources, you allocate those resources to nodes which causes that node to unlock over time, releasing your resources and unlocking more nodes for you to allocate them to. Some nodes can take more than one resource, some offer other

It has only a few simple rules: you have a limited number of resources, you allocate those resources to nodes which causes that node to unlock over time, releasing your resources and unlocking more nodes for you to allocate them to. Some nodes can take more than one resource, some offer other tangible benefits, and some are just there to take some resources out of circulation for a while.

At this point it sounds like a relaxed puzzle game but it's far, far from it.

The inclusion of an impossibly tight timer takes it from being casual puzzle-strategy to an absolutely frantic piece of work. It pulls no punches - the timer is brutal and every second matters, and at no point did I ever feel like I reached a comfort zone.

Calling it a race against the clock doesn't do it justice at all. The timer is ever-present and time is always almost up and sure, if it reaches 0:00 you lose, but the true goal isn't to beat the timer - it's to make the timer irrelevant.

There's accessibility features built-in if you want to take time to think between loops, but the challenge is always there.

The story is well written, the music is great, and it feels like a lot of effort was put in to making it the best it could be.

I've rated it 9/10 only because of some minor issues with the controls and resetting the view after a loop - you get used to it, but in a game that always feels intense those minor frustrations are amplified, especially when they're happening when your moves matter the most.

    Game's great, check it out!
