Yes, the game is rather short. It‘s also not too expensive. And it‘s one of the best VR experiences you can get right now. The concept is fantastic. The puzzles are fun and come with several jaw-dropping moments. The voice-acting is excellent. The graphics are simple, but the art style is great and fits the game perfectly. Like many others, I wish the game would be longer. But there is noYes, the game is rather short. It‘s also not too expensive. And it‘s one of the best VR experiences you can get right now. I played this game on the Quest 2 and this is a masterpiece of experience. The story is very memorable. The characters were brought out very well through the story. The dialogues were very well enacted. The puzzles were very innovative and fun. They weren't obtuse and could be figured out with little effort. The ending was so hauntingly memorable. The graphics were decent and immersive.

While falling slightly short of its full interactive potential, A Fisherman’s Tale is a unique experience, lovingly and charmingly crafted with a clever premise, solid puzzles and the poignant feel of a Pixar movie.

A Fisherman's Tale is basically a well realized taster for many concepts we wish could have been fleshed out to greater effect. The game's narrative is banal, but inoffensive, and should appeal to younger gamers more so than adults, and the same can be said about the level of difficulty on the puzzles themselves. In the end, it's a bit like stepping into a storybook, replete with all the requisite charm and pre-chewed concepts that ought to delight at least more than a few kids and kids-at-heart, but not anyone looking for a serious adventure worth more than the one hour of gameplay it provides.

This puzzle concept works best on a big roomscale stage.
