    This game gives us a lot of fun! The levels are very interesting. We never know what will happen on next screen. My daughter loves this game much :-)

    This is enough.
    Beautiful Graphics reminds you old school NES games! OMG 1992!
    I had to play it with dolphin WII emulator and now it is available on PC.
    Cute characters, hug the blob ...

    A nostalgia game,
    Basic platformer with solid mechanics but unfortunately it could not resist time itself. It is nice that developers bring these games to PC but in 2021 if you are not fan of this game or if you are not asking for nostalgia in your life this game is not for you.
    Was a good game in early 2000's

    Is A Boy and His Blob a game that is worth trying or should you better look somewhere else? The game undoubtedly has many positives - original game concept, imaginative level design, interesting puzzles, relaxed game atmosphere, balanced difficulty, beautiful and cute graphics and nice orchestral music. However, one can also find some downsides that make that game experience not so pleasant - no story that one could follow, the lack of tutorial, clunky controls, long waiting for blob sometimes and technical issues with graphical settings. Thanks to the short levels, not so high difficulty and cute graphics the game is suitable for family playing and school aged kids will for sure enjoy the game and practice their logical thinking. It’s a pity that there is not any cooperative multiplayer that would make the family fun while playing even better.

    I think that this game is a worthy successor to the old game for the NES console with the same name and despite struggling with setting the graphical setting in the beginning and regular struggling with the game controls I have enjoyed the game and felt really relaxed while playing. I am therefore giving A Boy and His Blob Thumbs Up and VideoGaming Father’s Index 7 out of 10 - recommended with some discount.    … Expand

    It’s a shame that it’s not a remake or a reboot (that this charming game deserves), but just a straightforward port with unattractively upscaled 480p visuals, poor controller support, primitive physics and flat out horrible companion AI. [04/2016, p.52]

    A strong hybrid between a 2D platform and a puzzle game, with an amazing amount of solutions and intelligent boss fights. It’s an old game, and it shows even in this new edition, but it’s still a pretty good title.
