    A really underrated game. Cute graphics, nice sound. But under the pretty surface is a very detailed game with loads of depth. What makes it interesting is that your little people can go on missions and gain items, magic items, etc. SO it's one fo the first rpg/rts hybrids. I found it a lot of fun. The contropls are great and there's so many ways of examinging your world --- A really underrated game. Cute graphics, nice sound. The contropls are great and there's so many ways of examinging your world --- from lists of people to lists of buildings, charts, technologies -- that you can drill down to find any infop you like, and there's a LOT of info. This game is like settlers on steroids, and much better than settlers five, which came out two years later!!!! If you liked settlers, you MUST play this one --- it's better thjan all the settlers games (And so are cultures1,2, and 3.)… Expand

    While the game is fun and engrossing, the design flaws make many tasks cumbersome and frustrating. Trade is a major pain, and it's just plain annoying to be stopped in your tracks time and again by non-functioning workers and warehouses.
