    If you’re looking for a simple but engaging real-time strategy and you don’t mind a large dose of humor, 8-Bit Invaders is a great distraction from more complicated games. [02/2017, p.55]

    The latest 8-Bit strategy game isn't without its shortcomings, but its offer of streamlined, accessible, Starcraft-esque retro RTS combat is no less tempting than those that came before it.

    The core mechanics of 8 Bit Invaders are solid and reminds you of classic RTS titles like StarCraft and C&C, but those mechanics are not developed enough which causes the end product to be a little shallow yet accessible to beginner RTS fans.
