-its pretty similar to a real life situation (in this case a nuclear disaster) although i dont think that everyone has a anti nuke valut inside their house. now on to the cons

    Cons:
-the controls in the scavenging parts are very clunky. i know its done on purpose but still, its annoying
and as i said it can get repetitive after an hour or 2.

But other than that this is a pretty decent survival game especially if you compare them to trash like warz or garry s incident

It's a funny post-apocalyptic survival adventure, yet it's randomness and lack of real choice makes it hard to call it a game. It's fun for a short time as an "experience", as long as you don't care who dies or survives.

    The Good:
    - funny graphics
    - some nice humor about the 50s and the Cold War

    The So-so:
    - the music is good but there is only 1 track which loops and loops, and starts getting on your nerves after a hour of play - at least you can turn it off
    - there is plenty of random events to sparkle interest, and the diary about the events nicely fits together random paragraphs, yet after a while you will have seen them all, and start skipping most of the text

    The Bad:
    - your decisions as a player don't really matter. E.g. when you send someone out for scavenging, you can't control them up there, instead you just sit and wait, and after several days the scavenger returns, with random loot (if any), maybe with an injury, or maybe he/she doesn't even return. Periodically there are events where you need to make a choice between 2 or 3 options, but it's not clear what the results may be, and the outcome is random. So, essentially, no matter what you do, how long you survive depends on random numbers. The only thing you really control is distribution of food, water and healing, but that's pretty trivial - instead of eating and drinking every day you need to eat and drink only when characters really start needing food or water badly
    - decisions to use items are presented to you on random days. So e.g. you can't simply click a radio to use it. Instead, on some day a pop-up will be shown, asking if you want to use it. The same with scavenging: you can just send 2 or 3 people at the day you want, instead you wait for popup. So, you decide anything very rarely.
    - the whole 3D stage of the game where you collect items before entering the bunker works very clumsy. Even at highest rotation speed rotations are slow. The character is unresponsive, and multiple clicks are needed so that he could pick an item, and the items you bump at while running are simply annoying (did they use Goat Simulator as a model?). So, on PC at least, don't play "Apocalypse" mode, instead start "Survival" with random items.

Rebuild (a flash game, economic simulator in post-apocalyptic world) is a better game, though it's from a different genre. Papers Please which is probably closer in its genre, is also a lot better because at least it has more meaningful choices and more things to do.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A good Post-apocalyptic game that has its moments but can get repetitive very quickly.

The Good: Can be hilarious at times, has many jokes and hidden images that make you chuckle.
-Can be extremely stressful at times, can result in extreme anger and screaming.
-Decisions can be really f****d up with choices, and really makes you think.
    -Art style is very nice.
-First 60 seconds are full of tension.
    -Difficult but not unfair.

    The Bad:
-Repetitive after the first few hours.
-First 60 second scavenging is difficult to control.
-Not much to it really, needs more content.
-Its asking price of £6.99 is a bit much.
-Endgame scenarios: Parents die = game over even if kids fine. Makes kids expendable, does not make much sense.

    The Ugly (Funny moments):
-My daughter became a super mutant... yup.
    -Talking cockroaches.
-Dads new son is a sock puppet.
    -Mad Max bandits.

Overall a fun game but nothing special, get it on sale or if it goes down in price, is worth it for the jokes and difficulty.

Its a one trick pony that gets stale in minutes.
Your objective is to collect supplies and family in 60 seconds and then survive. Thats it. There are some survival choice but it gets repetitive extremely fast. It is a short review because there is very little to talk about.
Got bored in 20 minutes and never gonna look back at it.

A nice little indie title that combines simple, reflex based arcade game with This War of Mine survival mechanics and some gruesome humor. You start the game in a procedurally generated house and you have only 60 seconds to bring family members, food, water and every potentially useful tool you can to your shelter. Of course you have limited equipment slots, so you have to run there and back again like crazy and decide what is more important - your son, or perhaps a radio that will allow you to listen to army broadcasts and be able to prepare for what is coming.

After the time is up, a nuclear bomb explodes and you begin the second, more important, longer part of the game. You have to survive several weeks in your shelter, using what you were able to collect. Every day you have to make difficult choices, like who are you going to feed with your limited resources, who is going to risk exploring the nuclear wasteland in order to find more useful stuff, what piece of equipment to save during an earthquake and so on. Almost everything is randomized, so no two campaigns are the same. It's not as complex, nor engaging as This War of Mine, but the variety of events is large enough to keep you going for several hours. I also like the art style of the game - it's very simplistic, yet fun. Be aware that there is quite a lot of text to read in the second part of the game and that you are going to fail time and again, as the random events can really make a mess of your shelter!

    An 'okay' survival game

    Pros:
    + Nice graphic style
    + Challenging 3 difficultys
    + Funny comments

    Contras:
-After 5 games, it gets monotonous.
-There are not much events, that happening in the "story"

You can buy it, but its a casual game. So do not expect much after playing it 2 hours.

Decent game but I can not get over the feeling it's an app turned PC game.
Game start with you having so and so many seconds to gear up and hop down your shelter. After that, nothing. You read, click the screen, read more and the "day" is over. Then it start over again with reading and clicking as you go about another "day". This is where the feeling of an app turned game comes in.I'd

I like it, but it could definitely be much better.
You must scavenge in 1 minute as many items as possible, then survive in the basement of your house. Then you must make some survival choices, scavenge etc.
The thing is, the events that happen are very repetitive. You can guess what will happen just from what is written there. It's hard only the first 2-3 times you play it, after that,

A good game to play in the past time casually, but pretty bad otherwise.

pretty nice survival game, fun, nice scenario but sometimes his randomness and the reccurent choices made it kind of repetitive. some choices are currently the same how ever you did.

Not exciting, needlessly hard due to randomness. The game involves little to no skill and bad dialogue. I just can't say much good about this game and I have refunded the game. I guess the only enjoyment I got out of it is watching some youtubers fail because of the exact reasons I feel the game is bad.

Its fun for the first or second playthrough, then just becomes extremely repetitive. For me it was after 3 hours, so i cant really recommend this. Its a game on level of some funky online games, but if you get it for free it can entertain you atleast for a while.

I get bored of this game quickly. The gameplay is schematic and many "random" events repeat themselves frequently

There are several modes on the menu, but they all come down to the same thing - collecting things and / or sitting in a bunker

Can't really complain much about this game nor can I brag much. It was fun for a bit as there are so many decisions you can make that can determine whether you survive or not. The branch of choices are very interesting as well. It can get very repetitive and there isn't much to it after you have survived a few times. Was funny on YouTube though.

A well-balanced mix of arcade and text adventure, funny jokes, stylish graphics and sleek game design elevate 60 Seconds above all other post-apocalyptic survival games. I wish there were more objects and storyline twists, but even with this amount you will get enough random combinations to last you a few days.
