    4 Elements is a fun little game, Bejeweled style.

    There is a little story in the game in which you must break free certain magical pools of energy or free fairies from their cages to save some magical world of some kind. Do this for forty levels or so and you have beaten the game. 4 Elements has nice colorful 2D graphics with some shiny flashy animations and rewarding sounds when    4 Elements is a fun little game, Bejeweled style.

    4 Elements has nice colorful 2D graphics with some shiny flashy animations and rewarding sounds when breaking jewels.

    I bought the game on Steam way back in 2010, nowadays it has been converted to a mobile game with all the mobile game scam tactics of today. Pass seventy easy levels, progress no further because the game becomes to hard, but your wallet can solve this issue. No thanks. I preferred the fun little time I had with the Steam version.    … Expand

    Will entertain for a couple of hours.

    A very likable puzzle game. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it, since it was a simple match 3 game. You basically match blocks to let the liquid flow from the beginning of the level to the end. It's a very simple concept, with some thrown-in minigames to keep you entertained. It has a few powerups that charge when matching the corresponding colors, which can be very helpful if youA very likable puzzle game. It's a very simple concept, with some thrown-in minigames to keep you entertained. It has a few powerups that charge when matching the corresponding colors, which can be very helpful if you get stuck at some point. It gets increasingly difficult and has a very nicely-done difficulty curve. It's a race against time farther on in the game when it starts getting more difficult, which makes it exciting with a sense of urgency. You should get 4 Elements if you like simple match 3 puzzle games, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! (:

    Though it should be marked down from $9.99 to $4.99, I don't believe a game of this quality is worth $9.99.    … Expand

    The basic idea of the 64 main levels of this game is to eliminate obstacles to an "energy flow" by finding monochromatic mini-paths of length 3 or more. (There are also 16 untimed and hinted "find the differences" puzzles, one after each 4 main levels, with a picture and text description of some fantasy character as the reward for completing each of these puzzles.) Each main level has a time limit, and the levels get more difficult as you go along, but basically it's a pattern and strategy game where you just can't take too long to implement the strategy. BUT that all changes on the last two levels, and that's why I down-rate the game to neutral. Suddenly it becomes primarily a game of speed, as the field of play scrolls by quickly and if you don't get enough of the right matches made in that brief time, you can't complete the level. I'm older (in my 60s), I like strategy games but I'm not that quick with a mouse and I know it. I would never have gotten into the game had it presented itself early on as requiring very quick action. I enjoyed the first 62 levels but personally I found it was very frustrating to get almost through the game only to have the basic nature of the game change to a form where I couldn't complete the entire game. Maybe if they added an option to control the speed of the scrolling (which was also somewhat jumpy in nature on my PC, making the required rapid mousing even more difficult), it could be a speed challenge to those who want that but remain primarily a strategy game for those of us who prefer that. If you're not fast of finger and really like to finish a game you get involved in, pass on this, but if you don't mind that the last levels require quick eye and hand coordination or you just don't mind getting most of the way through the game and then having it change so you can't finish it, it's pretty good. As to the cost, I got this game as part of the Playrix Platinum pack, which is a much better deal than buying the games individually.… Expand

    This is an ok game that will entertain you for a while but it's way too expensive for the value it gives. You should get it at a high discounted price.

    Great game! It's a classic match 3 or more casual game with an extensive fantasy storyline, as well as find-it puzzles. It also combines magic powers at the bottom of the screen which change the game play. You build up magic power by completing a certain amount of matches of a specific color. Overall quality is really good for a casual game. It's somewhat aged as far as graphics areGreat game!     A surprisingly good game. A combination of Bejewled-like match-three, hidden object, and "spot the difference" games molded around excellent production values. While the games starts out easy enough with an effective tutorial the difficulty curve ramps up quickly and by the middle of the game you will be hard pressed to finish each match-three level on the first try. Given that each level can run more than ten minutes you will sometimes want to tear your hair out when you lose. The only negative thing about this game is the story that holds the whole thing together; it was written for six year-olds. Still, I have played far worse games at this price point. If you are looking for a casual game and like the match-three mechanic this is an excellent option.… Expand
