    Just like hotline miami, and that's the problem.... but are so forgettable games and come to a point where frustration takes over the fun. it's hard to believe that many find the art fantastic.... it's just black and white.... a trip to a art museum could help....

    What I especially liked about '12 s better than 6' is a smart design - cool hand drawing, only three colors. Looks really beautiful. Plenty of different types of guns - I even didn't here about some of them before. Why not the highest score - the game seemed too bloody for me, but someone will appreciate it more than great design :-) Tastes differ.

    This game is a real monument of culture and, at the same time, it’s the caricature of the bloody-bloody time for the Wild West. This era had given a new genre for the world cinematography - Westerns. The one with the characters in sombreros, bars, spaced into pieces, where the smell of beef in a spicy sauce is everywhere. (or may be that’s just a dead coyote - who knows?) This game seemedThis game is a real monument of culture and, at the same time, it’s the caricature of the bloody-bloody time for the Wild West. (or may be that’s just a dead coyote - who knows?) This game seemed to absorb all of the cliches related to the genre. And that’s really cool!
    This is the first game in my gaming experience with such a racy theme. Thanks to the developers, who were able to create such convincing and stylish world of Wild West, that from the first minutes of gameplay I began to associate myself with this desperate guy, who, probably, smokes peyote with someone who’s name is Don Juan.
    To tell the truth, I'm not a big fan of stealth genre, but this game captivated me with its atmosphere, its music,archetypal characters, funny details, like, for.ex., drying clothes, horses feeding hay, big rats and so on.
    I also like the dynamics of the game, where a cozy saloon rapidly turns into a mess of human bodies and broken furniture.
    Keep your finger on the trigger and you’ll survive this massacre. =) That’s the only way. =)    … Expand

    As Hotline Miami has been mentioned a few times before, I think I would agree on this game being just a worse version of Hotline Miami. Unspectacular art style as well, even though the art style and its setting is probably its biggest plus. Gameplay is decent but nothing more than that.

    12 is Better Than 6 is top down shooter with a simple art style and light stealth elements. None of the other reviews I have seen mention this but the controls were awful to the point of being unplayable.

    I have tried for a long while to get 12 is Better Than 6 working since 2016 but I am officially giving up. It crashes at launch on any setup I have ever tried on it. I have tried it on Manjaro; Linux Mint 18, 19, and 20; Solus and Manjaro and none have worked. Sometimes I can get some semblance of an error message about a missing library only for me to install that library and still haveI have tried for a long while to get 12 is Better Than 6 working since 2016 but I am officially giving up. It crashes at launch on any setup I have ever tried on it. I have tried it on Manjaro; Linux Mint 18, 19, and 20; Solus and Manjaro and none have worked. Sometimes I can get some semblance of an error message about a missing library only for me to install that library and still have it crash but with no error code at all or just a seg fault error. I can’t comment on the game play at all. Now to the developer’s credit they do list on the main page that Ubuntu 14.04 as the only supported Linux distro but if that is truly the only that distro works with this game then they’re limiting themselves to less than 8% of the Steam Linux user base (according to most recent figures) as potential customers so I don’t know why they would make a Linux version that could be played by so few people. Luckily I only paid $4.39 CAD for the game but this was way before refunds so it was $4.39 too much. This is more of a PSA for potential Linux gamers thinking of purchasing it first although at least you can refund it if you try it quick enough.

    Wild West goes fast. Have you ever killed two people with 2 bullet in a Top-Down game? Loads of blood, violence and superlightning-speeded gunplays. All of that packed into the style of pen and paper. Of course there were some issues with navigation through the maps, but al the thing is already fixed. Thanks to devs.

    A top-down shooter which looks familiar if you have played Hotline Miami. It has got an interesting plot, pretty interesting gameplay, great (really!) soundtrack, and unusual art style. In case if you are into Western culture and like Western movies and games, I definitely recommend this game. Hopefully, the developers are going to add more content to the game, I'm waiting for multi-playerA top-down shooter which looks familiar if you have played Hotline Miami. It has got an interesting plot, pretty interesting gameplay, great (really!) soundtrack, and unusual art style. In case if you are into Western culture and like Western movies and games, I definitely recommend this game. Hopefully, the developers are going to add more content to the game, I'm waiting for multi-player or co-op.… Expand

    The game is really nice - "comic book" style is fantastic. In the air I can feel true Wild West. Congrats for great music! I adore "Espiritus Del Diablo". :) It looks like Hotline Miami - in positive meaning of course. BUT I spent only about 4 hours (maybe less) on this game. After some time I felt repetitive and something like.. hunger. Where is the rest? That's all? In result I enjoyedThe game is really nice - "comic book" style is fantastic.     12 is Better Than 6 é um jogo divertido, original, com uma trilha sonora boa e sintonizada com o game e a época, com duração suficiente para ser um indie e ter uma gameplay que irá te entreter por um bom tempo, exceto pela sua história estranha e rasa, e claro que na sua relação custo/benefício o jogo torna-se caro no seu montante total de valor para os padrões brasileiros. Contudo se12 is Better Than 6 é um jogo divertido, original, com uma trilha sonora boa e sintonizada com o game e a época, com duração suficiente para ser um indie e ter uma gameplay que irá te entreter por um bom tempo, exceto pela sua história estranha e rasa, e claro que na sua relação custo/benefício o jogo torna-se caro no seu montante total de valor para os padrões brasileiros.     В игру захотелось поиграть под впечатлениями от Hotline Miami. Не в том плане что они похожи, но в сущности стилистика у них одна и та же, вид сверху и т.д. Сеттинг Дикого Запада очень нравится, но по сути нет ни одной полностью реализованной игры про Дикий Запад, с элементами полной свободы и открытого мира (знаю есть серия игр Call of Juarez, но там немного другое, там линейность; естьВ игру захотелось поиграть под впечатлениями от Hotline Miami.     На Hotline Miami она похожа только стилистикой, все остальное там оригинальное. Атмосфера совсем другая, ещё бы - это Дикий Запад, а ни здания с толпой головорезов, которых всех придется убить. Хотя в этой игре по моему тоже нужно было всех убить без остатка и потом идет перенаправление на другой уровень. Я к тому, что в 12 is Better Than 6 - это делается более элегантно и со своей изюминкой. Кстати оригинальность стилистики тоже присутствует - "красная кровь брызгает на белый фон".

    Сюжет довольно примитивный, но он есть (мексиканец-раб все мстит). Тем не менее в игру постепенно вливаешься и играешь уже спокойно и без напряженности, а затем проходишь ее полностью (ещё есть дополнение). Выбор оружие не большой, но он я считаю огромный и не нужен, опять же это Дикий Запад - там по сути вообще нет альтернативы, а особенно в оружии. Мне лично практически всегда нравилось бегать с револьверами, в сразу веет атмосферой того времени. Спокойный и не торопливый саундтрек, сопровождает игрока по ходу всего прохождения и это добавляет теплоты и некого морального устоя, тебе просто приятно.    … Expand

    12 is Better Than 6: The Apostles То самое длс, которое должно было быть в этой игре, оно дополняет геймлпейное время для того, чего не хватило в самой игре, но ласт глава очень душная.     Very nice surprise. As everybody says, this game is very similar to Hotline Miami in its concept and even in it storytelling (flashbacks, lost memories...) but with the Western atmosphere and a few differences in the gameplay (reloading, barrel rolling...).

    Unlike Hotline Miami there is no scoring, which allows to spend more time to plan attacks. I appreciated this aspect, although the    Very nice surprise.     Unlike Hotline Miami there is no scoring, which allows to spend more time to plan attacks. I appreciated this aspect, although the different levels are not that difficult to take up.

    Among the few small regrets I have: a little problem of readability (all characters have a hat, and good and bad guys sometines have the same), the length of the game (4 hours taking my time) and the feeling that the scenario, interesting at start, could have been exploited a little better towards the end.

    For the rest, I really enjoyed the nervosity and the atmosphere of this Hotline-Miami-like.    … Expand

Foi desenvolvido pela Ink Stains Games e publicado pela HypeTrain Digital em 2015.

    Com mexicanos, chineses e cowboys, o jogo 12 is Better Than 6 é feito em três cores. Preto para as bordas e contornos, vermelho para o sangue e branco para o resto, com uma excelente arte gráfica, onde toda arte é feita com desenho em papel (como devem ter percebido),12 is Better Than 6 é muito mais feliz na sua execução, arte, gameplay e som do que na história. Mas antes de falar de gameplay e de história vejamos o som. A trilha sonora deste jogo é única e própria dando aquela pegada nostálgica dos bons filmes de faroeste, ou seja, muito legal mesmo. Ela é dosada para o momento certo e com elementos para cada ato onde se tem inimigos com características distintas e armas diferentes.
    Ainda sobre o designe do jogo vale ressaltar que não se deve desmerecer o game pelo fato de ele ser “desenhado”, pois a ousadia e originalidade dos desenvolvedores fizeram com que a gameplay do jogo seja muito prática, pois quase não existe poluição visual que atrapalhe sua mira e estratégia de jogo, você não poderá dizer que o alvo errou o alvo por um bug no jogo, pois as regras de distâncias e dinâmicas de acerto e erro dos personagens inimigos são seguras e exatas.

    Bom e como é jogabilidade, que em jogos como esse decidem se você vive ou morre? Em 12 is Better Than 6 é tudo muito, mas muito simples. Se resume em: não tente ser rápido de mais, se você não tiver certeza de que tem munição e um plano de fuga eficaz, pois se não pensar bem você toma um tiro ou se tiver sorte dois e morre.
    O jogo tem como controle as teclas WASD para movimento e o mouse para apontar e dispara, tirando a Gatlin todas terão limite de balas e quantidade variada e fiel de balas no tambor ou pente (então saiba usar em cada ato e conforme a fase, pois dentro do jogo será necessário trocar de arma para conseguir munição. Seja preciso e use a inteligência para matar o maior número de inimigos com uma bala ou bomba, pois tenha certeza que vai ter situações que só a faca será sua solução ou então o reinício da fase para mudar a tática. Outra sacada muito inteligente é que inimigos com mortos se disparar armas tem munição cheia, enquanto os que dispararam como loucos contra você munição reduzida o espaço de tempo em jogo para fazer um experimento é pequeno então reiniciar e morrer é um acontecimento frequente no game, recarregue, corra, se esconda, mate silenciosamente e rápido para obter sucesso.

    Se você gosta de ser politicamente incorreto nos games, talvez você goste da história (sem tradução para o português) de 12 is Better Than 6, agora se você procura um conteúdo histórico perfeito, nem adianta gastar os dedos ou a lábia reclamando depois, pois a história do game é estranha (talvez pela sua falta de aprofundamento) e as vezes meio sem noção.
    E o custo beneficio? Bom ai vem mais um dos problemas, além da história. 12 is Better Than 6 é uma boa opção, principalmente se você comprá-lo com promoções e bundles. Mas quando falamos no preço original de R$ 19,99 este jogo se torna salgado e pouco atrativo.

    12 is Better Than 6 c'est un ( top down shooter ) comme en dit vous incarnez un esclave mexicain un personnage qui n'a aucun souvenir de son passé et qui entreprend plusieurs quêtes, qui finissent toutes par un bain de sang .il a fui le Mexique pour les États-Unis en 1873.
    Le jeu est vraiment sympa et le style "bande dessinée" est fantastique on peux sentir le vrai Far West avec Une    12 is Better Than 6 c'est un ( top down shooter ) comme en dit vous incarnez un esclave mexicain un personnage qui n'a aucun souvenir de son passé et qui entreprend plusieurs quêtes, qui finissent toutes par un bain de sang .il a fui le Mexique pour les États-Unis en 1873.
    Le jeu est vraiment sympa et le style "bande dessinée" est fantastique on peux sentir le vrai Far West avec Une vision créative du genre du jeu de tir ,Les dialogues sont mauvais est horrible desfois , il est bon dans son combat et son gameplay par contre .     As a enjoyer of top down games i found this game really enjoyable its hand drawn and quite challenging but not to the point of annoyance. I also really liked that every gun has a different mechanic and not just left click to kill. Osd is also really well i wish ''espiritus del diablo'' was on spotify so i could listen it while working out in gym. Overall really this is a nice experienceAs a enjoyer of top down games i found this game really enjoyable its hand drawn and quite challenging but not to the point of annoyance.     A great take on a 2D shooter with an arcade-like feel and enthralling action. 12 is better than 6 and brings players into the game with fast-paced gun-play and an amazing art style. If you want a game to fill up a boring afternoon then this is an amazing candidate.

    A creative take on the top-down shooter genre and, had it had more opportunities for me to run into a room guns blazing, it may have been my new favourite. The hand drawn art style is unlike anything I’ve seen before and I can’t wait to see if the developers create something new with the same idea in mind. If you’re looking for a game that will have you crying with rage one second and laughing in triumph the next, 12 is Better Than 6 is definitely worth a playthrough or two.

    It’s fun, looks great, elicits a lot of tense moments as you run into an empty room to reload your shotgun before a small band of soldiers comes marching through to their death.
