Jul 30, 2025WWE 2K25 on Nintendo Switch 2 is excellent - it’s the full-fat experience that you can take on the go without compromise. Gripes aside, this is the definitive wrestling game for Switch players.

Jul 28, 2025Nintendo Switch 2 gets what may be the best pro wrestling game to date with WWE 2K25. Visually, it outperforms the weaker entries seen on the original Switch and holds a solid 60fps for most of the experience, with only minor hiccups. Nearly all of the content from other platforms made it into this version, except for the controversial cross-platform sharing feature. Still, it remains highly enjoyable and one of the most complete wrestling titles on a Nintendo console.

Nov 19, 2025This version of WWE 2K25 on Nintendo Switch 2 is what all wrestling fans deserve. It boasts top-notch graphics and content, exceptional performance, solid combat mechanics, and plenty of gameplay to keep you entertained for hours on end.

Jul 25, 2025WWE 2K25 powerbombs onto Switch 2 in an excellent port that holds its own against the likes of the PS5 version, and keeps the action smooth and silky, even when you start piling on the wrestlers in a Royal Rumble. With great looks, best-in-class core mechanics, a ton of online, local, and solo modes, and an enormous roster, this one will keep all you Switch 2 wrasslin' fans busy for a good long time. Intergender matches, improved MyRise and Showcase, in-depth tutorials, and the return of chain wrestling are all just icing on top.

Jul 30, 2025The Switch 2 version of WWE 2K25 is the best wrestling game on a Nintendo console since at least the N64 era, certainly the GameCube one. It's not without its faults, some of which are present on all versions of the game, but the overall package is a brilliant offering. It's satisfying enough as an annual iteration on other formats, but as the first non-broken WWE 2K entry on a Nintendo console since the 480p era, it's a revelation for Nintendo-playing wrestling fans.

Jul 29, 2025If you already played WWE 2K25, there isn’t much here to warrant a double dip, but if you want a great handheld experience, WWE 2K25 on Nintendo Switch 2 delivers the complete experience with no mode cut and solid performance. I just hope we see next year’s entry include cross-platform online and custom creations. WWE 2K25 is a bright start for sports games on Nintendo Switch 2, and it has me excited to play NBA 2K26 in the coming months.

Sep 16, 2025WWE 2k25 is a game with a solid, satisfying gameplay foundation, a flashiness befitting the product, and options galore to play your way. It also has game modes that aren’t all that compelling, a questionable presentation of their superstars’ appearance, a silly amount of self-importance, and a user interface that rivals the worst design this side of Sakurai menu screens. For me, returning to wrestling games with WWE 2k25 is like returning to your hometown after being gone for a decade. The bones are still there, you can see the resemblance in the local landmarks, but the people are different. You meet with friends to reminisce, but the dive bar is now a flashy speakeasy with a cover fee.
