May 15, 2026The musicians employed rose to the challenge – musically, it's a good game. They wisely handled the random combat throughout the adventure, which can be a problem in JRPGs, but the genre mechanics fall to the level of utter banality, where rhythmic elements aren't as crucial as they should be. The plot is mediocre.

May 12, 2026People of Note has a great story about a world that breathes music, but it lacked a better application of the theme in combat: it's much more challenging for the player and easier for the opponents. It's not difficult, but it loses a lot of dynamism because of this, and ends up feeling more like chess than an RPG. Despite everything, its plot and script are quite fun, as is its soundtrack.
