May 1, 2026OPUS: Prism Peak is a game that dares to explore territories rarely seen in the medium. It speaks about adulthood, the weight of the past, and how we build our identity from incomplete memories. And it does so with a sensitivity we rarely see in video games. It’s not perfect. Its uneven pacing, the overload of systems, and its extremely melancholic and dreamlike tone may push some players away. But it’s an experience worth having.

Apr 29, 2026OPUS: Prism Peak is not a game that tries to win you over right from the start. It takes its time to develop, and you’ll need some patience. In return, it offers something that feels personal, sometimes uncomfortably so. It’s a game about looking back, about the things we carry with us, and the ways we choose to frame them. That doesn’t mean it’s without flaws. The lack of clear direction can occasionally break immersion rather than enhance it, leaving you momentarily disconnected from the experience. There are stretches where the pacing dips, where the balance between exploration and progression feels slightly off. But those moments don’t define the game. In a landscape where games often feel the need to constantly guide, inform, and validate (or throw you off the deep end over and over again), something is refreshing about a title that’s willing to step back and let you find your own way. Even if that means getting a little lost along the journey, because that’s what being on a journey is all about, no?

Apr 28, 2026OPUS: Prism Peak is a narrative adventure that strikes a high note when it comes to its emotional dimension and exquisite art style, and which successfully makes photography a core aspect of the gameplay experience. While less of a conventional adventure than some could expect, Prism Peak boasts a very well implemented atmosphere and an unforgettable plot that binds every element of the game together, and the result is a game with a unique identity.
