Mar 19, 2019This game is an absolute trash fest for gaming. I do not approve for anything in this terrible game and I hope you all agree.

Mar 19, 2019This game sucks. End of story. Okay, i'm joking. This game really does not hold up well and just really, really sucks.

Jun 29, 2020Insanely great racing good fun for the night. Best racing game on the n64. Graphics 83/100, Controls 97/100, and Replay Value 98/100 for a total score of 95/100.

Jan 12, 2023An unashamed rip-off of Sega Rally, it's not as much fun to play but has more cars and tracks on offer. The championship mode doesn't work half as well because the slightest damage or wear and tear on your car makes it unmanagably sluggish but it's worth it for the Arcade mode.

CNET GamecenterAlthough the actual car models are quite nice, the N64's infamous fog--which makes for about 10 feet of visibility, even in sunny conditions--and the blurry, washed-out textures undermine the game's few good points.
-
It's a shame that the developers didn't polish "Rally Challenge 2000" a bit before they sent it out the door, because it has a really cool racing engine at its core.
-
It's not a miserable game by any stretch -- the bad fogging can be worked around, the sad audio can be drowned out without missing anything, and the lacking tracks are at least true to the sport.
