Apr 27, 2023More enjoyable Mario 64 style 3D platforming punctuated by unnecessarily long and irritatingly unskippable cut-scenes.
-
Apr 5, 2023Really great game! Kazooie is still better though (Didn't like the backtracking)
-
Jan 22, 2023This is an amazing game, but it falls short when compared to its predecessor. It takes the same formula and expands on it, but not all of them are improvements. The game is just a little too big and you waste a lot of time simply traversing the world and levels.

Jun 12, 2022this game is too good to express it in words (written) I recommend it but if you don't play it you won't be able to know that it's a god game too god

Apr 8, 2022Banjo-Tooie may not be as memorable as the first installment but it is a fantastic new game and it does everything it promises.

Jun 26, 2021Although this is still a really fun game, the worlds are a little too big for my liking and the amount of backtracking you have to do can get very annoying.

Jun 17, 2021Usually, the sequel for videogames used to be regular or bad.
Not the case for Banjo-Tooie, it's AMAZING. If Banjo-Kazooie was really good, Banjo-Tooie is even better in so many ways. Rareware videogames are just masterpieces. -

Jul 14, 2020Beautiful game, amazing story, abilities, and progress, funny jokes, wonderful and varied worlds.
-
May 1, 2020Continuation of its predecessor although less surprising and fun due to its level design. Overly large and empty maps. However, great game of the saga.

Oct 11, 2019Banjo-Kazooie was already a masterpiece on the N64, Banjo-Tooie ups it in most departments (outside of level design, backtracking and framerate), with enhanced gameplay, better graphics, interesting level themes, better music, better bosses, better characters and character dynamic and extensive multiplayer offering. Truly a sequel to surpass the original.

Apr 1, 2018One of the best sequels ever! While the making of this game sounded messy and unpolished, but when it came out it really worked out! While there are some flaws in this game, it's still a wonderful experience and sequel! I recommend it.

Oct 16, 2017Banjo Tooie is a perfect sequel with yet again a great story! The gameplay is mixed up with more than just the Banjo and Kazooie gameplay. The controls are yet again great. It has more than Banjo Kazooie, but I still love this game, but I choose the original still.

Apr 22, 2017An amazing sequel! The story doesn't bring much but when you get to the gameplay...oh its amazing! They took Banjo Kazooie and raised it up. Clearly a perfect game!

Jun 9, 2016Graphics are great and improved. The best Nintendo 64 game of 2000. I love every second of it. Not as good as the first but is the same level of nostalgic. I think that a lot of people love this game with great heart. No doubt this is the best sequel to a game ever created.
-
May 24, 2016Banjo-Tooie (Yes, Tooie; it's a combination of kazooie and too) manages to live up its predecessor and not screw things all over the place. Get this one if you wish and still have a Nintendo 64 with you.

CNET GamecenterThe gameplay is what's key. Banjo-Tooie offers one of the best platforming experiences on the Nintendo 64.
-
Da GameboyzThe graphics are unbelievable, the sound is fantastic and the game has so much replay value it just might be sitting in your N64 for months to come.

If you're not into platform games, it probably won't change your religion, but I can at least guarantee you that it's got a much lower crap-fest-purchase-risk-factor than any of the shiny new PS2 games you could drop 50 bucks on.
