Aug 19, 2013The awkward touchscreen controls forced upon a 2D platformer cause physical discomfort and turns the difficulty ramp up from a hard incline to near vertical. Instead, a low-key PC release with controller support would have been better suited. It wouldn’t have resolved all issues, a straight port never will, but it would have lowered the hurdles that cause a barrier to entry here.

Apr 12, 2013For just a dollar, Worm Run almost sells itself. Its lightning-on-ice movement speed and motivation to keep on trucking in the form of a gigantic carnivorous beast make for a nice alternative to the droves of autopilot runners available on the App Store.
-
Feb 26, 2013The fast swipes also compliment the game's frantic pace, making Worm Run a joy to pick up for a few quick rounds as you race to try and beat your high score.

Feb 25, 2013The fact that you'll often see the worm a section or two above the character adds to the adrenaline rush you'll experience, and the constant need to stuff your pockets with Grubies adds a welcome mini-game of sorts, but despite all of that, you'll probably curse the controls at some point. Apple'N'AppsFeb 22, 2013Worm Run looks promising on the surface, but the deeper you dive, the more unwanted aspects you discover. While there are some nice elements, there are too many problems to recommend Worm Run, making it one you can skip.
-
Feb 22, 2013Worm Run is fun, but it sadly is not perfect. Still, for those looking for something that’s a bit different, this is worth checking out.
-
Feb 21, 2013A brilliant variation on the endless-runner genre, Worm Run is breathless, addictive fun of the highest calibre.

Feb 21, 2013All the charm in the world can’t make up for control issues, especially in a game where speed and precision are everything.
