Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest is a solid RTS that has a competent MMO component with it to make the game challenging and entertaining.

If you’re looking for something that you genuinely need to play and master to beat your opponents, just skip this one. It’s an exercise in spending money – not strategic prowess. We can’t really recommend it to anyone but the rich, who’ve got the cash to fork out on being the best.

This game is absolutely trash. The developers have zero incentive of fixing a broken combat system, making this game unplayable.

Here is how the game works. You are a Chaos Lord, you have a fortress. You send troops out to get resources, you use resources to build an army, then you fight other Chaos Lords with your army. Simple right?

But then there is something called "tiers". A tier 2 troops already has better stats than a tier 1 troop, but because of a "tier bonus", 100 tier 2 troops can take down 1000 tier 1 troops without any losses. So this game is devoid of any strategy other than getting the highest tiered troops possible, and using these troops to hit opponents of lower level. This way, you minimize your own losses and keep up in the rankings.

This has come down to a system that is basically unplayable unless you out-spend your opponent. You might think, ok, I will spend say, $300, to be able to compete. Nope, because the person who spent $1000 can destroy you without any losses. So the game becomes purely a money sink just so you are able to play.

By the time you hit fortress level 20, you can pretty much take on 30 players who are unable to do anything to you because of the tier bonus. To get there, it costs about $1000 if you are going for speed.

Bottom line, STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME! Shame on you developers of Hunted Cow. You have repeatedly refused to do something as simple as removing tier bonuses so that the average spender/player can just enjoy the game. I will NEVER play a single game developed by your greedy studio.
