Jun 17, 2014I'm not entirely sure why Thomas Was Alone has such a low user rating. Considering it's characters are essentially geometric shapes, the 'shapes' ooze character & charm. Much like it's characters the gameplay is simple yet effective but it's the writing that really sets it apart.

Sep 2, 2020Thomas Was Alone is a lovely game all about working together to solve puzzles. It’s perfect for kids and adults alike and is even narrated by Danny Wallace, which is pretty cool.

Aug 4, 2014Plays as if it were made for iOS. More fluid than both the PS3 and PC versions. Funny, enjoyable, and emotionally compelling, in an odd sort of way. Excellent port of an excellent game.

Jul 28, 2014When I had finished with Thomas was Alone, I wanted more. I wanted the story to go on forever. I’m sure, even as a baby, I have never cared as much for a set of blocks as I did here. It’s a case study on how grand ideas and important themes can be carried by even the simplest of designs when its heart is in the right place.
