This game reminded me of when I played it back in the early 2010s. But other than that, there isn't anything much to say here. The graphics are reasonable, gameplay is fine, however there is one part that annoys me. I feel like you are required to have a Facebook account to progress in the game, as some quests require you to go "visit" a friend's town, and then "help" them do certainThis game reminded me of when I played it back in the early 2010s. I feel like you are required to have a Facebook account to progress in the game, as some quests require you to go "visit" a friend's town, and then "help" them do certain things. However, in the latest update, you can't do anything of those things without a Facebook account. But other than that, relatively decent. Expand

The Oregon Trail: American Settler is fun at first; but the more you go on, the more it gets boring and repetitive.

I just really wish that ideas like the random potentially timer resetting events and the energy 'gameplay' mechanic didn't make the choice harder than it already had to be.

A well-constructed social freemium game, but one that becomes more awkward and less appealing as the game progresses.
