Amazing! Great and nice graphics and stylization. Good puzzle game that is not so difficult but sometimes neither easy!

I like a variety of games on different platforms and I’ve played my fair share of them. I picked this game up for the switch after seeing a preview and becoming intrigued by what it was. It’s a very quick play through, roughly 3-5 hours and it immersed you in this colorful world playing as Ember and helping him navigate through this wonderful, poignant and ambiguous journey. I picked this game up for the switch after seeing a preview and becoming intrigued by what it was. It’s a very quick play through, roughly 3-5 hours and it immersed you in this colorful world playing as Ember and helping him navigate through this wonderful, poignant and ambiguous journey. Some would say it’s about depression, others about life and even more others about death. It carries a heavy melancholy feel that surrounds you as you encounter those that can be helped and even more as you encounter those “not ready”. With the final ascent to that “last campfire” the player has completed their journey and it’s meaning personal to each player. For me, it encompassed life, death and the in-between. In life we become lost at times, sometimes unwilling or unable to move on without some guidance. I believe in death, we can also become lost. And of course there’s fear in both. Like Ember, hope can ignite through the smallest of embers and carry us, guide us through our journey here and after. Whether it be about life, death and/or the in between, you’re taken on an immaculate journey filled with color, music that invokes, ethereal narration, characters that mirror your emotions, and a story sure to lift any heavy heart with an ember of hope. I wasn’t ready for it to end, I’m not even sure it did, but that final ascent left me feeling that it was a journey I needed. Even now, I sit with the images in my eyes, the music in my ears, the embers stories in my head and I think with a smirk, wow, how did these three creators leave me with something so beautiful. The Last Campfire teaches us that a flame can be rekindled and that we should not be let down by difficulties encountered throughout our lives. What a pity that the technique does not always follow… without these little clashes, The Last Campfire would come close to perfection in its category.

Well-thought puzzles that compose a fascinating world: The Last Campfire does almost everything right in these aspects. Maybe it lacks a bit of challenge and unique puzzle design but Ember's Voyage is surely one to live and remember.
