This is a way to learn how to code, by writing pseudo-code. In other words, you're following the real world rules of SWIFT (the language behind IOS apps) to solve puzzles.

    2. If this is for kids, then kids must be very smart today. It may feel like it is for kids but the puzzles are complicated at least and require at least some basic understanding of system theory, loops and programming in general. I'm stuck on the last chapter of section one.

    3. It runs okay on iPad Mini 4, however, it is a bit slow to load. As far as I know, runs only on IOS 10.

    4. Most commands are written for you so you don't have to use the keyboard, however, you'll save tons of tine by just having a bluetooth keyboard attached instead of using the on-screen one.

    5. The app is somewhat buggy. For me sounds don't work and step by step code walkthrough is bugged. Sometimes it fails to run the code and the video record is virtually non functional. However, all the core functionality works just fine, apart from it failing to run from time to time. Just exit the app and enter again, your code is saved.

    6. You can write real SWIFT code if you want on your iPad. It is just faster on the desktop but if you want, that's an option.

Overall, this is not a game, it is an educational tool that is interactive and somewhat made to look like a puzzle game. It is overall hard, at least for anyone that doesn't have a background in CS. If you know JavaScript or C++ or anything like that, doing it will be a breeze. For the rest of us, the real obstacle is not the app but finding a working solution.

If you want to learn coding, download it. It is free and it is amazingly addictive, that is until you hit a spot where you scratch your head, trying to find a workable code to your problem.
