    Jeff Minter updates one of his favourite shooters and the result is a feast for both the eyes and the fingers. Regardless of whether or not you have an appreciation for vintage shooters, you should give this wacky wonder a spin as soon as it's convenient.

    What it lacks is not being extreme enough in the way out there department, and a proper soundtrack. Still it is a breath of fresh air for a genre that hasn't evolved much since Midway 1942, and Ikaruga.

    Fans of Minter's work will be happy with this game, and those that just love arcade shooters will find plenty of endearing elements. Caprichoso for life!

    The closest thing to Ikaruga on a smartphone and despite the psychedelic presentation one of Jeff Minter's more lucid shooters of recent years.
