Apr 20, 2025It is not easy to catch a glimpse of Yu Suzuki's touch in Steel Paws, which appears as a rather formulaic action RPG roguelike that fails to distinguish itself from many other similar titles. The characterisation can be interesting, between the strange architecture, cute creatures and the almost "Miyazakian" design of the robots, but the obsessive repetitiveness of the gameplay strains goodwill.
