Kids love to sing and with Staraoke they get to play a game while they sing. Staraoke is an iPhone game where a player controls a character on the screen with their voice. The Staraoke software recognizes the singer’s pitch. If you sing correctly, the character stays on the path and you ramp up points.
Included with this Staraoke game are 3 popular kids’ songs. Songs included are “Brother John”, “Itsy Bitsy Spider” and “Old MacDonald had a farm”. More songs coming soon!
Staraoke is a unique and non-violent concept that combines three things kids love: SINGING, GAMES and FRIENDS!!! You can sing on your own or have a Karaoke competition between 4 players. Parents are going to want to join in the fun and have family Karaoke nights.
True fans of this game will want use a headset or dedicated iPhone compatible microphone. However Staraoke can be easily played using the iPhone/iPad’s built in microphone. Some pointers to get the best results: don’t cover your iPhone microphone with anything, hold the phone close to your mouth and of course don’t forget to sing loud enough for your microphone to pick up the sound of your voice (as if you would want to sing in a whisper). You should also adjust the volume of your iPhone so that it is not too loud or your voice will be drowned out by the music.
