    At first I thought this was a pretty one note but fun little movie novelty game until I found there are three distinct levels and quite a few nice little touches along the way. My second favorite type of game, the shooter benefits so much from the iPhone/iPad accelerometer with your movement and aim combined more intuitively. What really gets me about this simple but addictive (the best kind of game in some ways) piece of work is how much it reminds me of a childhood arcade favorite, "Tail Gunner 2".     It may deliver on some of the potential, but it seems to be far more Phantom Menace than A New Hope. Give it a look if you are interested in getting a glimpse at the future, otherwise it may be best to wait for a price to drop.

    Using an encompassing 360 degree control system to blast away enemies is as fun and engrossing as it sounds, but this hinges on optimal situations not always present outside your home.

    Star Wars: Falcon Gunner is a strange beast. As cool as the augmented reality stuff sounds (and it does work), using it isn't the best way to play Falcon Gunner. I had more fun just sticking to the Star Wars scenery – and I died a lot less, too.
