Gameloft has proven to be among the most superb game developer even if its in mobile Android or iOS. Spiderman Unlimited is a fast action game focusing on the entire squad of Spidermen from different universes to fight villains and defeat bosses at some time in the game based on running along in one line. Overall the gameplay, graphic, and user interface is undefeatable. I give 9 out of 9. :D

As obvious as Gameloft is, you are going to expect a LOT of in-app purchases. Freemium as everyone says. Completely out of the line absurd. So, as to the topic, this game deserves a 0 for its unpotential use of in-game purchases. Its too much for a guy who pays rent. Hell, its too much for a person to get the game itself.
As for the gameplay, i'd give it a 0 as well based to the fact that

Simply, this is one of those copy-cats of the GameLoft franchise.

They should get back to their "MLP" game.

The sad thing is, there's a decent game hiding underneath all the in-app purchases. But in order to unlock other levels, you have to spend in-game currency that you can either spend hours playing for or simply buy. Either way, the game forgets that you've accumulated any and resets your currency to nothing. It's insulting, sloppy, and borderline theft. It sucks all the fun out of the game. The sad thing is, there's a decent game hiding underneath all the in-app purchases. Game is ok, but it has a bug that resets your game currency (the kind you can buy with real money) randomly, which prevents you from progressing in the game and literally steals your money. I'd ask why they didn't bother fixing this, but it makes sense for Gameloft, a company that exists to make games less fun by asking for money every 10 minutes (and then stealing your purchase from you).Game is ok, but it has a bug that resets your game currency (the kind you can buy with real money) randomly, which prevents you from progressing in the game and literally steals your money. A good runner++ game and a good Spider Man.
You can easily get some hard currency for free all along your progression, and your energy-meter is always full once you get a few friends in-game to help.

While it doesn't really bring anything new to the infinite runner genre the charm of your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man makes it enjoyable nonetheless. With a mission based structure and boss battles it's one of the more action oriented runners. With tons of different Spider-Men to collect there's plenty of reasons for any fan of the wall crawler to give this one a look.

Some issues with the touch-screen controls arise for time to time. Those who have played similar games will be used to making quick, short swipes, but doing that here will cause for your inputs to not be recognized. As you would expect this leads to a cheap death. Precise, longer swipes are required here. It's awkward at times, but not game ruining.

In order to progress you are going to have to level up one of your Spider-Men, each taken from a different universe or chapter in Spidey comics. The rareness of your Spider-Man determines how much it can level up. As soon as you get a really rare one your time is best spent focusing solely on it. Collecting the others would be easier if there wasn't a limit on how many you could have at one time. That limit can always be upgraded though.

Overall the tight gameplay, multiple Spider-Men (and women), and free-to-play nature make it all worth checking out. It doesn't do anything new for the genre, but it still gives you plenty of reasons to keep coming back. It does make a few grabs at your wallet every now and then, but there's really no reason to spend any money on it. So yes it can in fact be truly free-to-play.

Great game. I would recommend playing it on an iPad, which greatly reduces lag and chance of crashing. I discovered that once you pass a certain point in the game (about 15 hours of gameplay) the in app purchases become obsolete, and the game becomes a whole lot more fun.
