Games Master UKNov 9, 2016The best of a brilliant series and a must-have classic. This is mobile immersion perfected. [Nov 2016, p.81]

Sep 22, 2016Sorcery! 4 brings the series to an excellent close. As far as I'm concerned, it's a better finish than the actual books got, and I'm impressed with the sheer number of options the player is given for reaching their goal.

Sep 22, 2016A fitting and fantastic end to one of the best gamebook adventures on mobile. Make sure you pick it up.

Sep 22, 2016When you do eventually reach its conclusion, you’re going to feel a little bittersweet about the whole thing. Fortunately, Sorcery! 4 offers more than enough different paths to pursue, giving you plenty of reason to start over again. There’s also that delightful sense of satisfaction in knowing that you’ve played through one of the finest narrative experiences of gaming in recent years. And I don’t just mean mobile gaming, either.

Oct 21, 2016In contrast to the sometimes boring statics of Japanese visual novels inkle Studios show how lively “interactive digital stories” can be. A fitting conclusion to an exceptional saga.

Nov 22, 2016The fantasy adventures of Sorcery! come to an end with the fourth and last chapter, which is perhaps the best of the series for writing quality and settings charm.

Sep 22, 2016If you’ve played through the previous installments, picking up the fourth is a no-brainer. You’ll bump into characters you’ve met along your journey and use items you nabbed way back in the Shamutanti Hills. If you’re a newbie, it’s still worth the price of admission, but I would recommend picking up the entire series and starting from scratch to get the most out of it. Otherwise, it’s a bit like reading about the Battle of the Pelennor Fields without having sat through the Council of Elrond (spoilers?).
