    Sonic Jump Fever puts the beloved hedgehog in a Doodle Jump kind of game, with a couple a new nice idea and a free to play model on top of it. Nothing new, but it works fine.

    So yes, while Sonic Jump Fever is not a perfect game and a little repetitive, it’s at least built to not overstay its welcome, and isn’t a bad game to just pick up and play for a few rounds at a time.

    This is a wasted opportunity. Not only an empty gameplay, but also a confusing interface, lots of adds and in-app purchases from the very beginning.

    While there are a few positives to it, such as nicer graphics, speedier play, the fever mechanic, and the idea of a time-based endless mode, it's ultimately an inferior game to its already-questionable predecessor.

The free-to-play model does mean that there are intrusive adds and attempts to get you to spend money on IAPs, but they don't ruin the game. The fact that it all comes in a Sonic skin does make things a little more enjoyable than it otherwise would have been. It might not be one you will necessarily play for hours at a time, but it's one that will provide some time-killing fun for a few minutes at a time. A great game to keep on you mobile device. Especially if you're a Sonic fan.… Expand
