    Every element in Rogue Sky just seems to fit perfectly together. The mission-based gameplay and levels work well with the controls and are enhanced by the visuals and music.

    It is fiercely tough at times. Frustratingly so in later levels. Everything else about it is excellent with the hand drawn artwork appealing, the soundtrack worth actually listening to and the unlockable system enticing players to continue.

    Like so many plying their trade in 2D action adventures, Rogue Sky wins the day through eye-catching art and simple, effective mechanics that always manage to avoid straying onto the wrong side of the challenge/frustration divide.

    To its credit, Pebble Bug Studios did a bang up job with the stylish graphics, and as we said, the music's great. At the same time, Rogue Sky isn't much fun, and ultimately, that's what matters.
