A great Mass Effect inspired action iOS game with plenty of replay and plot crackling with intrigue and a lot of surprises. Probably one of the few iPhone games I've played that didn't feel like a cash-in or a watered down clone of something else. Truly original and a great deal of fun.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is a great game. The visuals are fantastic to look at, from the shuttle launch facility on Earth, to the Chinese capitol ships, everything looks incredible.
I love how the game has an interesting story, and how the plot changes depending on decisions you make throughout the game. This makes Rev 60 a game that has immense replayability for me.
And the combat is fun and different; something that I've never seen before, something that makes it accessible to beginners as well as "experienced" players.
    This game is highly recommended.

Really interesting story game, where all of your choices affect the ending. Very accessible combat system and multiple difficulty levels. The game is free up to a certain point, then unlocked with a one time In-App Purchase. No nickel-and-dimeing, no alternate currency greedy nonsense.

One of my favorite games of al time. It is an indie game, but don't get me wrong, it's not a garbage one like Undertale. The developer overcame the odds and made a landmark achievement in gaming with this one. I can honestly say it is one of the best games of all time!

The gameplay, however, is specially tailored to maximize the use of touchscreens, alternating between QT events that put your reflexes to test, grid-based twitchy combat and decisions that will affect the outcome of your global mission. The plot is thoughtful and fans of good sci-fi will probably love it. You have to pay attention to everything if you want to discover all the twists on it. The visual aspect, however minimalist obeying to the need of running in slightly vintage iOS hardware, draws its influences from classic 90's shows and Japanese anime. Also special attention was put in the animation that however not being mocapped, convey a lot of the personalities and attitudes of the characters. Same could be said of voice acting. In resume, a highly recommended title tailored for RPG/Sci-fi fans. Expand

I was a Kickstarter backer for this game, and I'm glad I was. The game has the right balance of challenge, fun, and an interesting story, with complex, interesting characters. I really wanted more of the story-- when the game ended, I was really wanting to see what happened next (hopefully there will be a part 2). I played it nonstop until I finished it.

All in all a somewhat okay game. The graphics may be a little dated and the sound is a mix between cheap effects and somewhat decent voice acting for some characters... But considering the platform it's acceptable.

The story is allright. It is a little predictable and cliche at times but it is not completely bad. It does suffer from being a little too grandiose given the subject matter.

The gameplay, however, gets tiresome after a while. It is a somewhat clever execution butit gets rather stale and kinda boring after the first few fights. I would have liked to see more variety and creativity. Basically it is a watered down game that mixes simon with checkers in an odd kind of way with QTEs littered at surprisingly confusing points.

It's an okay game over all. It likely won't have you in rapture or engaged for very long but it's an adequate game to play while you're on the toilet at the very least.

Seem to be a lot of reviews that are biased for some reason but I'll do my best to give an honest review here.

Graphics: Probably the best thing about this game to me. The graphics are stylized and good but I do have issued with how sexualized the characters are. I mean. I hate to dock points on the game for it seeming sexist but I wish a more honest portrayal of women had occured here.

Gameplay: Wasn't bad but wasn't great either. Some issues with sluggishness and these wasn't anything new or exciting. The controls suffered slightly from technical limitations. 5/10

Story: This is where I have the BIGGEST problem. I try to leave politics out of games but when a game is as blatantly sexist as this game I cannot let it go. The story was weak at best. And when the game tried to assert of story it was almost always at the objectification of female characters. Honestly, whoever developed this game should be ashamed. 2/10

Normally I would go with an average of all the scores which would be a 4.3 but because I was so offended by it's sexism I'm gonna subtract another 0.5. Hopefully the developer will look into providing more positive female characters in the future.

Let's be honest. This game was bad. Anybody giving this game anything over a 5/10 is doing so only in light of the recent negativity surrounding Brianna Wu and they want to be supportive of her by giving her game a positive score. This is dishonest and misleading and frankly will trick people into wasting their money on a game that is overall just shoddily made.

The game has predominantly female characters I would have liked to see a more balanced gender representation in the game rather then going to the other end of the extreme.

The woman displayed in the game wear skimpy outfits and have unrealistic body proportions which is unfortunate considering the audience its directed at are woman. The game may be harmful to girls given the subject matter on how woman are shown. Frankly I expected better from a feminists developer comprised almost entirely of woman.

The story itself is passable but nothing that has not been explored before in Sc-fi video games. The writing is average at best which tends to drag as the game progresses. Dialog system looks like it was copied from Mass effect, while the game play is a bit clunky that also requires a lot of taping with combat being more of a chore. I am also disappointed that many of the conflicts in the game are solved by violence.

Considering the game as a whole I feel it deserves a 4/10. The game might have been scored higher if not for it blatant sexism and poor representation of woman. I am giving this game a 4.0 marked down slightly for the sexist views presented in the game. Overall this game is uninspired and marginal at best. I can't recommend this game.

if you allow me to be fair, the graphics have redeemed this game to a point where it is most heavily reliant on the initial interest the gamer gets upon seeing the game, but when he or she gets to that point, it is sadly all downhill from there. And even then, the entire looks only slightly better than an old Disney cartoon and a Disney cartoon would be more entertaining.

And even then, the entire looks only slightly better than an old Disney cartoon and a Disney cartoon would be more entertaining.

Gameplay wise, it 'functions'. it just does. And when gameplay only 'functions', you know there is something lacking that fails to captivate the gamer and keep his or her eyes on the screen. A mediocre game keeps you entertained til' you have something better to do, and good games makes you live for it. And sadly, i do not live for this game. it lives, out of the mercy, of our reviews.

The writing is atrocious. A game with good writing can redeem it even with primitive graphics, take "Undertale" as an example. But the writing is just bland. it lacks flavor, it lacks zest. it lacks the ability to keep me interested where it's game play had failed, similar to "Depression Quest"

Over all, this game is, and i say that without the least intent of bias, plain bad. At this point, i suggest the honing and improvement of the developers skills, but when i heard it took a six digit price for production and was a able to scrape a Game of the Year Nomination, i honestly clenched. Wu can do better, i know she can't.

The graphic shading is a bit poor, but otherwise passable. It's sluggish performance really lets it down, but it could be my device as well (although probably not likely). The story is ok, but it's not great by any means. It's a pretty poor iOS game, but not by all means the worst iOS game around. It's ok for an iOS game. I'd recommend trying it, but don't have high expectations.

Although Brianna Wu is not biologically female, I respect her right to call herself female. What I don't respect is dishonest reviews pandering to the SJW crowd praising this game when no real praise should be given. I talking solely by what I've seen/played, my opinion on Brianna are completely seperate. Graphically, the game is something most would expect from an early unfinished PS2 title. The game's budget and engine (Unreal 3) should not reflect this. The game's dialogue is bad, and the voice acting, whilst very poor, isn't the worst I've heard in video games. The gameplay isn't fun, and it's filled with QTE button mashing that many gamers, myself included would like less of in games. The female characters also fit stereotypes that those critical of supposed "sexism in video games" shoud note too.

With that said, is there a positive to the game? I would say yyyyyyyessss... It's quite an achievement to develop your own video game and I would say a small congratulations to Brianna and the team behind it for completing it. Visually it isn't beyond terrible, although inexcusably dated graphically, it does it's job in the sense that it is in fact a video game that will function. Although it's not a very enjoyable experience.
