Dec 4, 2012The game mechanics are fun, but after a few plays it becomes repetitive as there's not a lot of depth to it. Tactics are very repetitive, and strategy wise there's not much to it IMO. I find the oriental theming really annoying, but that's just me. Too expensive, as it doesn't offer much in the long run.

Nov 12, 2012Despite its fairly limited strategic options, Qin is a solid board game. It will certainly appeal to fans of abstract, thoughtful games, and its simplicity is rather elegant. Still, even at higher levels it lacks staying power.

Nov 5, 2012If you're popular enough to have actual friends outside your computer screen (what a ridiculous proposition), do you buy the cardboard and plastic board game, or sign into iTunes and download the virtual version instead? Choices, choices. Either way, I'm pretty sure one Mr Reiner Kinzia wouldn't mind if you went ahead and did both.
