    Such an amazing addictive game! I love it so much. There is so much depth to it. It takes hours even days to beat, plus all the fun little game modes. It's a must-buy!!!!

    This game is a tower defense like game, that has you planting different plants on your lawn to battle the zombies that are trying to eat your brains. The touch controls work really well, and the graphics are great on the Ipod Touch, matching those of the consoles. generally there isn't any lag, however things slow down when you spam star shooters. The game isn't amazingly long, but it has some replay value, especially if you want to find every Zen Garden plant. There are achievements to earn, and the game gets harder the second time around, in case it was too easy the first time. sadly, a couple modes have been excluded from the mobile version, such as endless mode and the world tree. Still, these extra game modes aren't enough to warrant a $20 purchase of the PC game, so pick up the $3 mobile version instead. Great game, and worth your while.… Expand

    A brilliant, innovative game. This really brings something new to the Tower Defence market, with new surprises and changes of play on every level. However, I would say that PvZ does not have the re-playability that it needs for users to complete the Story Mode - I know I didn't. This is a brilliant game, but things may turn stale 3/4 of the way through the Story Mode; this is why I give itA brilliant, innovative game.     It is one of the best iPhone games but only has 2 main modes and misses out some of the PC features, but it is cheaper at only £2. It has a lot of play time too.

    This game is a real blast, a must-own for all iOS users. Everything from the cartoon style graphics to the simple touch controls make for an experience that few other strategy defense titles have established on idevices. The gameplay is simple but allows for a surprising amount of depth and for of course strategy.     This game is absolutely AMAZING for a simple iOS game. It involves strategy for the main adventure, some strategy for the puzzles and mini-games, and even a hint of luck in them, too! HIGHLY Recommended on both the iOS devices AND the PC.

    Gran juego, muy entretenido, la dificultad es normal ya que me pase el juego sin morir ni una vez, el sistema de juego me encanto y la variedad de plantas y zombis esta muy bien, muy bueno lo recomiendo.

    I have played PvZ on the PC and 360, but the iPad is my favorite platform so far. In general PvZ has to be one of the best games of the last 5 years on any platform. It is complex but has a fantastic learning curve. It has humor, sophistication and huge amounts of re-playability. My son thinks it would be more fun if you played as a zombie, but what does he know, he is only 6.

    The game is very good but is not as good as the pc version caused by the lack of: zen garden and mini games. after you complete the game there is not much you can do

    As far as mobile games go (which I score differently than console and PC), it is pretty damn good. Other great ones: Hearthstone, Hitman Go, Plague Inc., Kingdom Rush, Monument Valley.

    This is one of the best games I have ever played it has so much missions it takes days to beat and the controlls are super easy I recomend it!!!!!!!!!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I would have given this game an 8 or so, but I HATE (H.A.T.E.) the most unfair minigame of all time: Vasebreaker. That minigame is a complete negative on this otherwise wonderful game. That minigame almost sucks out all the fun out of the strategy of the game by being so unfair. I hate Vasebreaker with every bit of my soul.… Expand

    Having recently made the jump over to free-to-play I was curious to see if microtransactions had shown their face and ruined an otherwise excellent game. Thankfully they haven't. A few adds will pop up from time to time, but this is still the same excellent game. Only now you don't have to part with any of your hard earned money to play it.

    With plenty of plants to unlock and different zombie types popping up, your strategy will almost always be adapting and evolving. Just the change from levels taking place in the night instead of day adds some new challenges to work around. There's always something new, exciting, and very fun waiting around the next corner. The difficulty ramps up at a perfect pace.

    Given how addictive it is and how it's perfect for pick up and play sessions on the go, I highly recommend you check this one out. Especially since now that it has gone F2P and didn't bring any nasty IAPs with it. Even if you don't like it the price tag of $0.00 means you will not have lost anything by trying it.    … Expand

    "Plants vs. Zombies" is a great game to play on your iPad. Playing on an iPhone is alright, but the screen is a bit too small, and perhaps not as exciting. The same rules of the PC applies here, so if enjoyed the PC version, you would enjoy the iOS version too.

    Still one of the best games I have played to this day on my Iphone, and with the upcoming PvZ2 I can only salivate with anticipation on the new challenges that await.

Even if you don't have an iOS you can still buy it on Steam for the PC, on the Android, and several other platforms. Even if the game is slightly Crazy with Crazy Dave it til is fun and addicting to play. I've probably logged at least 100 hours (if not close to or more) of gameplay of this game. It is aPlants Vs.     This is a wonderful game. I played it through twice and am considering a third time. It is worth the time and money. I would recommend it to anyone.

With exclusive mini-games, including a crazy delicious zombie popcorn game, and the popular "Last Stand" level has now been adapted into it's own game mode! The game seems even MORE cartoony and fast-paced in this version, so definitely worth the £0.69 fee for either hardcore fans or PopCap beginners.… Expand

    PvZ is a fun tower-defense game with lots of sub-games and missions to keep you playing for hours on end. Although it may become repetitive after a while, it is still a great iOS game and should kill many hours.

    A great simple fun game to play. For a pilot that's sounds so stupid it works. It's an amazingly fun game to play for a stupid pilot it's amazingly fun.

    Without any doubt, the best mobile game to ever exist. Best tower defense ever too. Challenging but fair. It also has nice touches of humour. But it's short of minigames and extra modes compared to PC version.

    Every game mode (and the gameplay itself ) is addictive and involves strategy
    The music is great
    Everything is great in this game.

    Though it may get repetitive and grindy (especially selling game modes for 100,000 coins just to force the players to buy coins. UGH) at times and EA's greediness is present, as a whole, it never gets old.

Anyway I remembered playing 'Plants vs. Zombies' on the very first iPad I had in my hands (in that Apple Store not far from my house). The feelings were terrific. I came home and directly got it installed on my iPod. These are good memories...

    As I said the gameplay was amazing, the story entertaining (even if quite short), the plants original and that Dave neighbor marvelous. This game is just as strategic as I love : well balanced, hard sometimes as you reach the end but far from being impossible. And you can make it even harder when you manage to finish the game once ! At least you can still have fun on other game modes. Boss fights were great, easter eggs were cool. Great casual game.    … Expand

    It’s a classic for a reason, fun and interesting gameplay that is more strategic than you would think. There is a decent campaign and plenty of mini games to keep you occupied for a while and, even better, it’s not pay to win!

    It may seem strange to give a 10 for pvz since the graphics, history and mechanics are not nearly as good as those of any other game that would receive such a note, but it is necessary to remember that this is a mobile game and that
    the best use of the platform is a distraction while you are away from your console and pvz does it very well.

    very good game except when i played so much i practically beat the game and then my old tablet broke i had so much fun and it did not need wifi i did not start playing plants vs zombie again until i saw it was free on the xbox game pass. and now i am having fun with the game again

    This game is truly a masterpiece and a blast the difficulty is fair unlike is the sequel and has great music and mini game are ok you can play them if you’re bored of the main story to this day the game is still fun and play by many like your mom

    How nostalgic it is to play this game again on Android and remember a time when my only concern was playing games, eating and going to school :(

    Despite being slightly on the easy side, PvZ is an absolutely stellar package, overflowing with so much charm and charisma that It's almost impossible not to be swept up in this wonderfully zany world.

    Overall there's a lot of game here. Well made for those that like to sit down and play for hours or just play in quick bursts. If you enjoy strategy games, you'll enjoy Plants vs. Zombies.
