    Pinochle is a great card game played with either a single deck of 48 cards, or a double deck of 80 cards. Players initially take turn bidding for the right to name trump. Players then earn points by first showing melds (combinations of cards from their hand) then by collecting cards during the trick-taking phase. Win the bid and you get to not only name trump, but also play the first card. Be careful, though, as you now must earn at least the number of points bid during the hand. Otherwise, you do not earn any points and instead lost the bid amount. If, on the other hand, the opposing team wins the bid, your job is now to prevent them from making their bid by taking as many points during trick-taking as you can.

    Pinochle HD offers extensive game statistics, including a full breakdown of every meld ever played as well as games and hands won. Every meld is fully broken down within the game, showing you a full explanation of the points earned. It is also integrated within the Plus+ network, allowing you to compete for leaderboard glory and earn awards within the game!

    Finally, with Pinochle HD, you can play a multi-player game, both on the phone itself and over Bluetooth with our Peer to Peer option. Peer to peer games allow you to choose to either play together against the AI or team up with the AI against each other.
