    Phoenix Spirit is a cool game of exploration, filled with well drawn pixel art, immersive music, and a neat game concept that any fan of Metroidvania side-scrollers shouldn't miss.

    If it had a bit more polish and a better combat system, Phoenix Spirit would be a winner, but in its current form, I would keep it do genre fans only.

    Once you're comfortable gliding around, Phoenix Spirit is a creative Metroid-style side-scroller that will melt away the hours with its relaxing gameplay.

    It combines great presentation with interesting explorative gameplay, and they only charge you a buck for it. The Mother Tree needs you…or at least the strange doggie you control.
