Jun 11, 2012Pastry Panic is, quite simply, another pick-up-and-play iOS game destined for Classic status. There've been a lot of those lately, haven't there? Not that I'm complaining.
-
May 25, 2012It takes an enjoyable concept, slices it into two fun modes, and respects the player's competence by getting relentlessly difficult. It's a little simplistic, sure, but that's just as often a compliment as it is an insult in the world of mobile games.
-
Jun 11, 2012Pastry Panic doesn't try to do anything overly complicated and revels in its own simplicity. You will too as you frantically try to shove as many cakes in to your face as possible in a limited time.
-
May 25, 2012While it will keep you entertained for a period, Pastry Panic is a little too lightweight to become a classic.
-
Hyper MagazineJul 19, 2012A worthy high-score distraction. [Aug 2012, p.31]
-
May 25, 2012Don't let its simple design fool you, Pastry Panic is a hit of sugar that's hard to resist.
-
May 30, 2012Pastry Panic has some moments of fun when it all clicks, but these are not that frequent. Most of the time it feels like I am waiting for the pace to pick up, only knowing that I will curse at the controls once it does. Pastry Panic will probably hook some players, but it failed to hook me and left me feeling a bit bored.
