    Unfortunately not supported anymore, but that game had for me the right balance of “seriousness”for grown ups, detailed controls (automatic or manual shift, etc) and physics to really get into the race on mobile or ipad. Unlike newer games in mobile with simplified controls, ridiculous over the top physics, in baiting for in app purchases.

    It's not my favorite app, but it's definitely one of the most polished in my library, and absolutely takes advantage of the fantastic iDevice hardware.

    Hands down the best iPhone racer since Real Racing, Need for Speed Shift offers a superlative single-player career that will keep your hands glued to your iPhone for hours.

    I'm just going to say the game will last you a long time. It has taken me a little close to forever to complete the first city, let along the other 5 or 6 cities. By the end of the game, I don't think anyone would complain about the game being too short or too lacking.
