Nameless: the Hackers is exactly what the AppStore needed.

A completely new style of RPG with traditional mixed in. The game centers around a mercenary hacking group (Something like Anonymous for hire) and they get caught up in some serious business with elite organizations. The main story is interesting, but the best part are the little character interactions. As you cruise around

A completely new style of RPG with traditional mixed in. The game centers around a mercenary hacking group (Something like Anonymous for hire) and they get caught up in some serious business with elite organizations. The main story is interesting, but the best part are the little character interactions. As you cruise around the world from your computer (and it does feel nice), you run into little stories with the characters. I found myself chuckling a few times outloud, an experience I've NEVER had with other iPhone games. The battle system is also really nice because you send "hacking" moves at the enemy and watch their computers erupt into fire and the little characters start freaking out. It's just a very interesting, and original game. There is a little bit of grinding, but as an RPG with NO

AND I REPEAT NO IN APP PURCHASES

It is quite enjoyable. Especially because you have all these cards to collect after doing battles, missions, sidequests and etc...

Not trying to sound like an advertisement, but if you like quality games designed for the iPhone, not just a messy port, and also an RPG that isn't boring or trying to juice you for money all day, YOU NEED TO GET THIS GAME. Check all the reviews, it's a safe buy. Also support Indie games!!!

Nameless: The Hackers offers a legitimately interesting story and puts a unique spin on its RPG mechanics that actually works.

The game's sound isn't going to knock your socks off, but it takes care of business, at least for a while.

Make no mistake, as an RPG Nameless is about as streamlined as it gets. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite hit that exploration/battle balance that's important for preserving interest.
