    As far as side-scrolling tilt racers go, Monster Trucks Nitro 2 is just pure explosive fun that knows how to keep your pinned to the screen.

    In virtually all areas Monster Trucks Nitro 2 goes above and beyond its predecessor. Actually, this is one game that may have earned a permanent place on our iPhone.

    Monster Trucks Nitro 2 delivers some good arcade action, intuitive controls and twenty races to complete as fast as you can against a ghost car. The only problem is you'll be probably able to complete all the stages in a few minutes. Anyway, give it a try.

    Don't get me wrong it is a well made game, but for me all the elements don't quite gel together for a great game.

    This nitro boost has given the Monster Trucks Nitro series a kick up the exhaust after a lacklustre first outing, but this isn't robust enough to ensure it captures pole position.
