    Played the **** out of this on the Switch.

    Now playing the **** out of it on IOS. Deckbuilder meets tower defense meets roguelike. Think Slay the Spire, but prettier, more balanced in the way of oh-my-goodness did I just break it again what was that DAMAGE I JUST DID-so-fun type feelings. Easy to get into, easy to stay in also. This game allows you to, and encourages you so    Played the **** out of this on the Switch.

    This game allows you to, and encourages you so easily, to absolutely break the game. It's not an one-off occurrence as it is with games like Slay The Spire or other roguelikes/deck games, it's a structural thing. And despite that the challenge is there, steadily increasing after each clear.

    The sheer scope of choice Monster Train offers for strategy is amazing, and the fact it took two years to come to mobile is criminal. It’s a simple premise but is so engaging and endlessly fun, and the three floors of combat add such an interesting twist to the gameplay. It cannot be put any simpler than this; Monster Train is a game everyone needs to have on their phone.
