    I thoroughly enjoyed the original Mirror's Edge on the home consoles, now that Faith is here on various iDevices makes this app more enjoyable. The visuals look great, but if you have an iPhone, you''ll be treated to some gorgeous visuals. Gameplay is simple enough as you tap whatever's in your way to beat the level. Priced at $ 0.99 makes this a worth-while title to own and is worth your money!

    At first I disliked this game because it felt so different to the original. The 2D setting means levels are extremely linear and the mechanics are much simpler, so there is little, if any room for creativity. However, once you get used to the controls (you're always running automatically in one direction), the mobile version definitely captures the core spirit of Mirror's Edge gameplay.At first I disliked this game because it felt so different to the original. However, once you get used to the controls (you're always running automatically in one direction), the mobile version definitely captures the core spirit of Mirror's Edge gameplay. Because it's so linear and simple, maintain your momentum and keeping things flowing is a requirement to advance and is very rewarding at times. The levels are just right in terms of length and number of obstacles and enemies to navigate through. It's got the same art style, environments and soundtrack as the original, so it stays true aesthetically to the franchise. There aren't a huge number of levels and there is little variation between them, but when going for the 3 star speedrun it requires near-perfect execution and, to some extent, route-planning (which is mostly "up or down"). There are a few issues, such as the repetitive nature of the levels and taking out enemies by disarming them is almost always a bad option, but overall it definitely "feels" like Mirror's Edge despite it being a 2D mobile game with only a couple of gestures. Another issue is that the controls can be a bit unresponsive at times - sometimes the game won't register a swipe and there are points where the framerate becomes very low (I was playing on a Nokia Lumia 735, so it's not hugely surprising). On zip wires and slides the game uses your device's tilt angle to determine your speed; which is annoying because it's definitely not something that is explained or at all suitable for this kind of game. You also can't disable your ghost when speed running levels which is very distracting. But overall it's a solid mobile version of an iconic game and is worth the asking price.     Amazing game, it is one of the best games in iOS, the gameplay and history are not good at all, but it still being one of the best games for iOS, no matter how much I repeat it, but it still being so amazing

    Mirror's Edge is a very enjoyable experience and one that you'll keep coming back to in order to beat your best times. With just a few additions it would be perfect, but as it stands the game is still recommended for fans of Canabalt and the original console game.

    Mirror's Edge may be short, and not fully rid of the horrid combat that has brought its other incarnations down, but it still is a fantastic agile urban platformer that shines more than it ever did on the consoles.
