It's really very fun as far as classic FPS' go, but the story, relayed through in-game terminals, is one of the most complex and ambiguous narratives I've ever witnessed in gaming. It's a game that you could spend hours and hours picking apart, and honestly, that's a rare experience. Probably one of the best science fiction games ever made.

You are "unspecified action hero security guard number 2401," and you have been put in the unenviable position of watching the universe end as a Lovecraftian horror awakens from its ancient Star-Prison. But, all is not lost, as the Ancients use you and your fractured, guilt-ridden, war-torn psyche to navigate the Multiverse in a desperate attempt to save at least *one* universe from utter annihilation. Rage and despair before your unconquerable limitations. The candles will go out for us all, so burn bright. Also, play this fantastic game.
