    All of the build up to this game has revolved around the fact that true deck building has finally been implemented. This seems like great news, until you realise that there's a measly card pool of approximately 300, which has been split into a 'basic' pool (unlockable by playing) and 'premium' pool (only unlockable via cold hard cash). This 'pay to win' approach would be a little more palatable if the rest of the game was rife with content, but it simply isn't.

    Gone are the prebuilt decks that were great to just jump in with on a level playing field, and also gone are fan favourites in the Two Headed Giant and Challenge modes. Deck building should have been a separate element to coexist with the format DotP fans have come to love. For those who wanted deck building as the centrepiece of the game there has always been MTG Online, so to take away so many great elements and replace them with a limited, micro-transaction filled husk of a game is appauling.     I used to play Magic 2013 and 2014 very often and so I was really looking forward for 2015 edition. Firstly, the graphics.. on trailers it seemed that white background will be very pleasant, but in fact it looks horrible. Try to focus on cards on game board, the margins of card... just looking oddly. Also the game model, where you do not expand premade decks, but you gain booster packs andI used to play Magic 2013 and 2014 very often and so I was really looking forward for 2015 edition. This is not definitely bad idea, but building your preferred deck takes very very long time. And by playing you can only unlock some of the cards. Premium cards may be obtained just after purchasing premium booster. So here comes the "freemium" model...

    This is another of Magic's annual releases, the good news is it's free to play (at first), the file size has been cut almost in half (compared to the 2013 and 2014 series entries), it's playable on older iPad's (iPad 2 through current, as previous entries recommended iPad 3 or higher for best experience). The worst news, IAP's and if you plan on having a chance online you'll likely spend a quick $20-$30 dollars on cards. The packs and decks don't run cheap, it's a huge disappointment by Wizards of the West Coast, especially when you see what Blizzard was able to do with Hearthstone.     Do not buy this game. This game forces to buy premium boosters (you must pay 1.99usd for each to get them). so you cannot complete card collection without paying 20 ~ 30 usd. and its hard to beat who have premium boosters. I'm sure that this is the worst pay to win game I have ever played. I was big fan of Magic 2013 and Magic 2014. but they betrayed their fandom to make little more money.

    Major waste of money was painful to play. interface was slow and imbalance between player and AI is a joke. the menus are confusing. the tutorial is good you feel like its going to be fun not too easy but doable.     It’s not without room for improvement, but this is a genuine iteration of the digital Magic: The Gathering experience. The effort that has gone into bringing the game closer to the beloved real-world duelling pays-off, delivering far greater strategic depth and universe engagement. [Episode 6, July 2014]

    It's a friendly introduction for people like me, a flexible platform for hardcore players, and all-around the best version of Planeswalkers yet. Wizards of the Coast and developer Stainless Games have made a great showpiece for an enduring classic of a card game.
