There's no true story, it's only a theme. Level design is interesting but requires lots of precise jumping.

We move by sliding to the sides of the screen. We can only "jump" with help of other objects. Each story mission is evaluated at the end by pearls collected, time spent on it and lives used. Endless missions end on first death and are evaluated by pearls, time spent per level and levels passed.

The game design is very unforgiving and you need to learn the behaviour of dangerous objects and which of them can kill you before you stop dying so much. There are also hidden paths you will be aware of on the next run.

I'd say it's better to play it slowly and stop at the edges before sliding down so you can read the pattern of movements below. I finished the story mode in a few hours, the same goes for endless mode. I haven't collected all the plates or didn't get many gold medals. I find this game very difficult and nervewrecking.
