This game is the perfect iOS racing game. All the other ones are trash except this one. Now I hated the Legends of Chima TV show, but the game is magical. Now I hated the Legends of Chima TV show, but the game is magical. It was a flash game on LEGO.com that was ported to iOS and Android, and I have only played the flash game, but they’re the same, so who cares? In this game, you play as any one of 8 customizable LEGO racers that take the form of anthropomorphic animals. You then race on a beautiful multibiome track with graphics to rival that of The Garfield Show: Attack of the Space Lasagna for the Wii, collecting studs and Chi, which can be used to power up your super speed. If you get to the end before your CPU opponent, it plays this sick cutscene of you smashing into the enemy’s Speedor and knocking him out. The only problem with this game is not being able to play local multiplayer.

10/10 Much better than Mario Kart

When you consider the handful of character blocks you can unlock, Legends of Chima: Speedorz has some value, but there's simply not enough digital meat on this game's bones to hold our collective interest.

As a free app will bring us many hours of fun, even though there's still room for improvement. If a later update brings us those missing elements –like multiplayer modes– you can add some extra points to the mark. So far, recommended for big LEGO fans.

While it probably won't have as significant an impact as the previously released Lego properties, Legends of Chima: Speedorz certainly has the potential to be a family friendly time sink for those looking for a lighthearted racer. Plus, when factoring in the additional content coming down the road, there is no reason not to give this free romp a try.
