    This game is pure pay to win, they don't even try to hide it. All in game currency (keys, materials, gold) are limited to the point that you can't upgrade cards without spending real money. On top of that cards and the upgrade materials are often time limited and could take months or never come back into circulation. So you have to spend, spend, spend if you want to max out a card.

    To put it in context, without specials you can pick up 4000 gems (in-game currency) for $40. The current holiday special that lets you straight buy a legendary without praying to RNGesus costs 6,400. So just over $60 to pick up a single, not even max rarity, card.

    Since card have multipliers that increase as you evolve them, the more money you spend, the higher you can score in the weekly events. Which means that non-iap players are in for a real rough time when they try to move up in the leagues.

    If that money-making strategy isn't enough to send you running, the game has been bugged for months. The first time I submitted a bug report they compensated me with event keys... a week later. Which was like saying, sorry you got cheated out of a top 5 rank, here's some keys for an event you suck at. The second time they gave me more keys for the same week, which was an improvement. But the third week of constant crashing about 40 ~ 60% of the stages that I started, they refused any kind of compensation.

    So for losing points, currency spent to replace lost keys, loot from the stages I could have cleared easily, etc the only compensation was more chances to watch the screen go black and dump me to the desktop. Now they're final stance is that the problem is with my device. I'm using a frigging iPad with the most current iOS and patch level for their app. It's not like I custom built a pc from spare parts at a Radio Shack and dumped some Linux distro on it so they can't possibly know how to work with it.

    tl;dr The game crashes constantly, you can't win unless you drop literally hundreds of dollars, and the menus are designed by someone with serious ADHD. Everything glitters, sparkles, shines, and moves.    … Full Review »

    This game has, had so much potential to become a major player but they keep messing it up.

    They have so many strengths in areas difficult to find, like graphic designs, programmers, but they are so weak in areas that are easy to fix, like project, release, change and communication management.

    They rob us blind with the value of their packs, 40-50$ worth that is not even worth 1$ usually.

    They keep changing stuff around like they were developping a new game. They use us as guinea pigs.

    Their communication is opaque, at best. Even the front facing team don't always know what the design team has done.

    They test skills are weak, at best. They always, always, always release stuff that are poorly tested, it's not a joke.

    This game could be great for the communities and friends it creates, which is a main reason to continue playing mostly. But what a waste of money...    … Full Review »

I loved getting a full deck to play with and loved how everyone I played with also loved the game. BUT THE DEVS KILLED EVERY BIT OF FUN OUT OF THIS GAME. Forever decks are worthless so that means the money I spent was all for nothing. You can’t play this game without spending about 100.00 on gems so that you can get a full deck. The devs lie and only keep making it worse for those that are free to play and for those of us that don’t spend 100’s of dollars on each weekly event. They threaten you with banning if you ask apple for a refund or when they or their app screw up and you ask for refunds. Slayer events you run out of keys and they have made it so you run out of them unless you buy more. Commander events are impossible to play unless you buy the full deck. Unless you have the money to spend on this game don’t even bother, because now it is uninteresting and not worth your time. Choose a different game!!!… Full Review »
