Feb 13, 2013KnightScape is easy to pick-up and just to play. It shows some very interesting attempts on IOS such as entirely 3D worlds characters and animated sword fights. The art style is pleasant and while the gameplay may seem simple, they are quite addictive and challenging later on. I've enjoyed playing through all levels.

Dec 11, 2012KnightScape ends up inhabiting a weird space where neither the course-running nor the combat really grab you on their own, yet they don't necessarily combine like Voltron to kick butt either. There are a number of mobile games where you can see what the developers were trying for clearly enough to lament when they don't make it there, and this feels like one of them.

Dec 11, 2012KnightScape might not win over fans of truly "hardcore" runners and fighters, but anyone looking for a less intense good time should enjoy themselves. Especially if they love both those things. I know I do.

Dec 11, 2012The amount of backtracking required is enough to hang up progress, making KnightScape feel more like a leisurely stroll than a gallant knight on a brisk run.
