    This is a game for children and if I were a child I would probably love it. But as I am an old prick everything is boring and naive here. No challenges in the puzzles and too much nonsense talking. I forced myself to play but finally surrendered. But if you are looking for a game for your little love, I would reccomend it, as there is no violence and the general atmosphere is very pleasant.

    This game starts off with a bang. I loved the visuals, the music, and the atmosphere and tone this game had. It felt like one of those games that was trying to keep up the appearance of being kid-friendly while underneath it was slowly losing it's childish innocence. It even lampshades this in the form of a reluctant author who's being told to write darker, *less* kid-friendly stories.This game starts off with a bang. I loved the visuals, the music, and the atmosphere and tone this game had.     However, toward the end of this game, it increasingly gave me the impression that the developers were running out of money and needed to get something out the door. The color palette used, while impressive throughout the game, became increasingly colorless, the level designs felt like they increasingly kept making me backtrack to pad out the level length, and most importantly, the game ends on an out-of-nowhere cliffhanger that made me yell "What?" to my iPad.

    I found out later how this game was formed through a Kickstarter campaign, but seemed to have several promised components left out. That campaign met a stretch goal that should have included voice acting (something that would have added a *lot* to the game, similar to how the voice acting made Tangle Tower go from ok to amazing), but didn't meet a goal to include a 2nd part. The game was also not marketed as a "part 1" game, nor is there any clue as to whether a sequel is or will be in the works.

    So, while this started out really positively, I was massively disappointed in the cliffhanger ending. While I would play a sequel if it were to come out, I have no idea if or when that will happen.    … Expand

    I am 75% through the game, and I am loving it so far. The game does a great job of making you feel like you really are there with Jenny as she is solving the mystery. The game’s art style is gorgeous, and there’s a great deal of creativity and fun to experience. Consider me surprised that Apple Arcade doesn’t have this game front and center.

    In the end, Jenny LeClue – Detectivu succeeds in telling you an engaging story with good mechanics, fun puzzles, a great way of introducing mystery, and characters that you’ll really find yourself enjoying. If you take away the glitches, this is definitely a top-notch game that I think any lover of mystery, murder, or puzzles will enjoy.

    Despite some annoyances, Jenny LeClue is among the best adventure games I’ve played in recent memory. From start to finish, the story and characters are absolutely enthralling and I couldn’t put it down. Every twist and turn had me glued to the screen as I solved a murder alongside Jenny and the author. It’s cute, funny, heartwarming, mysterious, and just a little bit frightening. Jenny LeClue - Detectivu is a must play.
