    Walking away from Ice Age Village feeling satisfied is an easy thing to do, especially if you're a fan of the film series. While it would have been nice to see a bit more social in this social game, the gameplay that exists stands on its own as being fun and compelling. Considering the cost of entry, I'd recommend the game to anyone even mildly interested.

    Graphically, Ice Age Village is one of the better looking games of its ilk with lots of animated characters and easily placed items. Pathways could do with a better system for placing them down, though and there is the odd issue with scrolling around bigger environments when placing a house. For the most part, though, the game certainly feels like it fits with the movie series and the chunky, colourful graphics do appeal to younger players.

    Ice Age Village does a few small things differently from a typical city-building game, but otherwise, it's a standard, solid experience: it's very easy to play, and kids who love the franchise will have a blast making their own villages and visiting their friends' towns.

    Ice Age Village doesn't add anything new to the genre, but it comes with the same characters seen in the movies and is packed with tons of missions to complete.
