Dec 6, 2017As a fan of twitch reflex arcade games and platformers, Hoppenhelm is a nice mix of both. I'm in love with the graphics and chiptunes, as they make me feel like a kid again. The one-touch controls make the game easily accessible for anyone with a touch screen, but the challenging gameplay and unlockable content keeps you coming back for more.

Dec 6, 2017Slight issues with the continue system aside, Hoppenhelm is a great arcade game. Hopping, chopping, and blocking all feel great, there’s a fair sense of challenge, and there are unlocks to keep you working toward something on every run. There’s very little not to like here, so hop on over to the App Store and give it a download.

Dec 6, 2017Hoppenhelm doesn't set any new standards for the endless runner or the stripped-back mobile platformer genre, but it is a highly enjoyable time waster. If you find yourself lapping up Nitrome's moreish arcade gems faster than the developer can supply them, this is a more than worthy tribute.
