One thing I've learned by playing games like "300: Seize Your Glory" and "Gravity: Don't Let Go," is that you can expect Warner Bros. mobile tie-in games to have fantastic presentation, unique gameplay, and make excellent use of the movie's material. They really are memorable experiences. The downside to all that? They're are all often incredibly brief. Sadly this one is no different. It's three missions go by in a breeze, and while they're not particularly great, they still show a lot of promise. Outside of a halo jump mission you spend the entire thing running around a city in first person. Outside of rescuing civilians and occasionally shooting something in order to progress, nothing really happens. At least not until Godzilla shows up. The controls are ok, but I've still yet to see ideal controls for a first-person game on mobile devices. What really succeeds here is the atmosphere. It really makes me wish this was a full game.

Sadly it is not. Rather it ends up feeling like a demo for something bigger. Something with a lot of promise. It's still worth checking out if you enjoyed the movie. It's completely free price tag means you aren't losing anything if you do. Just download it, see what it has to offer, then uninstall it. Who knows, you might just feel you can skip that last step if you find it replayable enough to do so. As it stands it's an interesting, but not at all filling snack for the Godzilla fan.

Possibly the first example of a movie tie in game that's better than the movie, You go around the city that's still getting destroyed offscreen COD-Style, planting C4 and shooting support beams to organically move you're way through the environment saving civilians from said godzilla,

While it only takes 20 minutes to complete for a free mobile and online game it's not bad, there is 2

While it only takes 20 minutes to complete for a free mobile and online game it's not bad, there is 2 exciting chase scenes where godzilla appears and chases you, and i thought it was cool how cars and debris went flying and were reacting to him. Get this over watching the film because it has a lot more Godzilla then the movie.

It's an experiment rather than a game, and it just takes around 20 minutes to complete. Still, being free, it's a reasonable option as an extra for the movie.
