I was like, almost on depression because of a goddamn video game girl, I litterally went secretly buy a 100$ google play card

    Yes, the content is good, well I always hated that game anyways, I hate the gameplay even if it's an unpopular opinion, and I hate that it looks like every part of the stories are big characters promotion

    This game could have do way better, but well it's a Gacha, and after having realized how down bad I was, I finally realize all of that

    Don't worry for me, I have a girlfriend now and I found back my independence, and I'm not spending on gacha anymore

    Just, don't play this game if you're young, or don't let your teens play it

    This game is often compared with Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild but that does so much disrespect to BotW. Or any well designed game in general. The art style and certain mechanics are certainly 'inspired' by BotW, the game design is very mediocre. the objective of the game for the company is to sell to players new playable characters through gacha system. However for anyone picking up the game you will have a lot of the main and world quest content to play for free. If you just play this game once in a while when it actually has playable content then for a free game I would rate it as high as 8/10. But if the game intends to keep players playing then it should make the time worth spending and not griding artifact domains.… Expand

    Gave some points for the first half of the game, which is new and fun, plus good environment/ character design and easy to understand gameplay. Still after awhile the game itself became stale and boring, everything just repeated itself and somehow there is still no actual endgame content after 1 year.
    Oh and did I say 1 year? Usually farming for anything is so restricted to resin (stamina), and the rewards are abysmal, be it character's materials or primogems for wishing. Players all over the world helped this company to build such a wonderful community and earn so many awards, yet on the anniversary day they received nothing. Don't even bother to do in-game survey, they mean nothing too. Many under-performance characters and bugs didn't get fixed/buffed after tons of patches and player's suggestions.     It's awful honestly. The story is not completed and the whole company is extended the progress of character build-ups. The gameplay is not really interested, eventually you'll get repeat and repeat again every single time when game got a update, you just search for treasure,kill monster,search treasure. But, for a mobile game, it is mediocre.

    Long version :

    Pros :

    - The graphic style is nice, it looks well-made and clean
    - World design is pretty good, towns, small villages, ruins, cliffs, hills and including all the small puzzles, it is good for exploring and treasure hunting

    - Music in this game is so good, some of them are relaxing, some are very energetic (mostly of the combat music)

    - Voice acting (I used JP voice) is top-notch, almost all story content and a few side stories is fully-voiced

    - There's cooking and book-collecting for those who loves this kind of collectibles

    Cons :
    - Combat is shallow, it's basically spam attack, use skills, switch chara, use skill, spam attack. Elemental reaction system is meh. It doesn't add any depths whatsoever because it is almost always benefitting the player, making the fight easily forgettable and uninteresting.

    - Sound effect of the attack and the animation of character's attack is meh. Bear in mind there's NO COMBO related in this game, unlike its predecessor, which has ALMOST the same mechanic with character switching combat style. So the all character has only normal attacks with 2 skills. That's it.

    - Mob AI is awful and slow, the mobs in this game is so uninteresting, some of them just walk beside you, idling for 5-10 seconds begging to get hit, even some of the mini-boss AI is just terrible

    - There is no real difficulty, even the bosses pattern are too easy to predict, some of them have 'special condition' to be defeated, but even most of it are basically just attack what's appearing until it's dead

    - Exploration in this game is abysmally unrewarding. There's a certain occasion when you have to explore a different locations (which is far away) to be able to solve a puzzle, after all that effort you're doing, you're just rewarded with : a few in-game currencies that you can spend in 15 seconds, a few equipment that is not any better than what you have by the time you reach that reward and a 3-4 items to level-up your character, which can only increase 5% of your character's level by the time you get the reward

    - Achievement system is abysmally unrewarding. Imagine exploring nooks and crannies of the world, getting all possible collectibles, and what you get is 'congratulations, here, 5 premium currencies' and a dull name card.

    - Wish (gacha) system is so expensive, and the resource to make the wish depletes so quickly as you progress through the game. It costs you 160 Primogems for 1 Wish. Even Achievement only give you 5, a few chests and missions give you 30. Note that the Primogems from chest DOES NOT respawn, and the story missions and quests are VERY SHORT as of this review is dropped.

    - Wish (gacha) rate is abysmal. You need to be VERY LUCKY to pull a 5* on this game, the rate even lower than most of other mobile gacha game. You want that one 5* character? If you're F2P, you must save-up for a few months to be able to guaranteed the pull. If you're gonna spend money, prepare to spend hundreds of dollars to add that character to your team.

    - Stamina system is more of a burden than a feature. You want to explore? Prepare to eat some food or your character can't even run for 15 seconds. You want to climb that cliff? Prepare to climb REALLY SLOW or you won't reach the top.

    - RESIN system is abysmal, terrible, and hindered progression to the point where you only spend 10 minutes a day to play this game. Resin is an Energy system that's implemented in domains, where you farm for artifacts / materials to ascend your weapon or character. The problem is, most of the items that needed to ascend your character are dropped from bosses, which cost 40 Resin for you to be able to get the reward after defeating the boss. You only get 120 Resin, which equals to 3 bosses, and those 120 Resin takes 20 HOURS to fully recharge. On top of that, even though you managed to level-up and ascend your character and weapon, good artifacts is needed to make the character viable to be played on the higher difficulty. This system only hindering progression and lessening the fun to the point of it doesn't get enjoyable anymore.

    The game has potential, but it has to undergo MASSIVE overhaul to able to be mediocre at least. As of now, I personally don't want to invest any more of my time to this game, oh wait, I can only play for 10 minutes a day, but even then, this game doesn't deserve my 10 minutes as of now.    … Expand

    Since hitting the resin cap means you are passively missing out on resin, the system basically forces players to login and use some resin every day if they don't want to be left behind.

    In forcing this to become a routine and then by providing daily unsatisfying gameplay (you barely get to play for about 30-40 minutes max each day) it forces players to either abandon the game or come back the next day for a few minutes in hopes of actually achieving some progress.

    It's the worst kind of predatory game and I really want to congratulate the "journalists) that played it for 2-4 hours then gave it a 9/10 and ensured that a **** of people are exposed to these practices. Stay classy IGN and please drop dead already, nobody respects you, you are the butt of jokes.

    Don't play this **** unless you have way too much money to spend. Even then you will still be forced to only play for a limited time but you can push the limits a bit further with paid currency. The game is unrewarding and frustrating by design to psychologically manipulate you.

    "It's just a gacha game" is not an excuse for it to be actively trying to program people into addicts. I am convinced at this point that Mihoyo didn't really want to make a PC or PS game so much as they wanted to sink their claws into the untapped marked and expose players and children who may not have known of gacha games and how they work to the greedy monetization model they use.    … Expand

    Rewards    Nothing is free. For this game, the price is even more than you think. It starts out as a fun single player game, but continue on and you will it consistently restrict you in order to frustrate you until you decide to either give up or pay it money. And it wants a disturbingly huge money; maxing a single character can cost approx. 2.5k USD, due to how the dev set up the system.

    Rewards are mostly paltry and stingy; most of the time you are only rewarded with Mora (the money in the game). Primos (which is the premium in game currency you can buy with real world money) are given out sparingly in useless small amount or none at all. Same goes to the other materials; the resource pool in this game is too much; characters need experience book (because you get less than 100 exp doing anything else in the world), your weapons need ores to upgrade level, you character's talents/skills also need talent books to be upgraded, both your character and weapons need another round of materials to ascend (because levels are gated) AND there are no other way to increase your character's constellation other than trying your luck in their wish aka gacha system, which accepts real world money, turning it into a gambling machine. This kind of predatory method have been proven to work, and the devs seeks to challenge themselves on how they can take this further. The amount of resources needed are absurd, and you need approx. 12 days to level a newly received characters to be able to use them (due to constantly being restrictred by the devs). Do note that you can speed up all of this by giving them an absurd amount of real money, for a single character.

    Most of the mentioned materials are also restricted from being obtained via the resin system. I don't understand when one of the reviewer from a well-known site state this system is positive for stopping the players from playing to much and promote them to do other things. Why is there no system to stop players from spending too much then? Because it's their money and they can spend however they want? Then how come players can't spend their time however they want, farming for the materials that is required in an absurd amount? The material drops and the artifact's attributes/stats were purposely made to be both horrendously low and terrible (6 out 6 artifacts will be plagued with def% only stats), requiring players to keep repeating it to get what they need, only they can't; the resin system limits what they can do. You can increase it slightly by paying them money (of course). Despite the constant complains, the devs refuse to make any major changes, only giving scarps to placate the rioters (increasing resin to 160 is only so that players don't need to login twice per day to complete BP task), because they are adamant to sell resin in exchange for money; the leak on the CN Playstation Store was done on purpose to gauge reaction. How is it possible that they didn't think there will be backlash is mindboggling.

    I also like to point out that the devs are much more competent in finding ways to restrict players to ask for money instead of fixing bugs or implementing QoL improvement; Hu Tao, a character in the game (yet to be released at the time of writing), was initially a 4* character, aka, not super rare. However after realizing that she became popular before even being released, the devs decided to make her a 5* character. Not because her gameplay kit warrant her to be a 5*, but because they wanted to milk her for profit as much as possible, and making her harder to obtain will lower the rate to obtain her, frustrating her fans to the point they may eventually have to pay more than her worth just to get her. It should be noted that the gacha rate in this game superbly low, and the pool are also huge, so the chances of you getting what you want are also low. You don't just need pay money; you need to pay a ridiculously high amount for it.

    The game mostly pander to fan's fetish, hence the absurd amount of obtainable characters that can only be obtained by gachaing or gambling. As of right now, other than the starter set you received, there are no other ways to increase your character's constellation other than relying on the gacha/gambling system. The consolation rewards for getting dupes from gambling/gachaing are given out in small amount, just like everything else. Lore wise, Paimon is your only companions; nobody else follows you on your adventure, so all those things you read as if they're talking to you while on your journey? Yeah, doesn't happen. You can't even find them in the world unless you're doing their personal quest, and right mostly only the 5* characters have personal quest. This is done mostly to bait you into gachaing/gambling for them. I have yet to see most of the other characters appearing in the story, yet they are already in the gacha pool.

    Not recommend for people with addiction or gambling issues. "Just a gacha game"? Yeah right.    … Expand

    I give those game 1 point just for really interesting world and plot. But why u creating the game like this (AA+) and doing casino mechanics with all in-game content? They're all looking cool with nice animations and abilities. All of them give us another felt of playing game and exploring the world. But only what devOps doing is just adding casino...

    I don't understand why people don't see what this game really is. It's just a bad copy of Zelda. It has no mobile optimisation, needs way too much disk space, needs to be connected at any time (it is completely stupid for a mainly single-player game) and, on top of that, it has a dumb pay to win gacha. Don't waste time and money with this thing and simply play another game.

    The last few updates are just a mess of **** and urine pouring into the open mouths of the community. The characters are useless and unplayable, the plot does not normally reveal the characters, they feel plastic and faceless. The game is slowly dying for me

Graphics are good (ish), but the microtransactions are nuts, 30 dollars to "pull" a character, who 1/30 times will be **** and youll have either wasted money, time or both, gameplay isnt good either, mostly just run from here to there, kill this non difficult or thought provoking boss and get the thing, then run back to quest giver, adventure rank also is a annoying, because after level 20, the game slows to a snails pace.     You can play without paying but starting with Adventurer Rank 30 you need 8 Leveld Characters to progress through the Dungeons. And with those Gacha rates getting a Team like that is pretty costly. (Free    Gameplay is fun, but the Gacha Rates are horrendous, need to spend about ~300$ to get a (Guaranteed) 5 Star Character and then you just need to get it 7 more times to fully level up...

    You can play without paying but starting with Adventurer Rank 30 you need 8 Leveld Characters to progress through the Dungeons. And with those Gacha rates getting a Team like that is pretty costly.
    (Free to play Rate for one 5 Star Characters is about every 3Months if you can clear those Dungeons...)

I played many gacha and this has the worst banner rates and the worst pity system I ever seen. Avoid this game! And first anniversary was a JOKE and a slap in the face of players! Stay away from this!

    The resin system is a paywall that they don't make obvious until 100+ hours in. I was having a blast until the game basically told me to fms because I didn't have enough resin. But fear not.. you can BUY resin with real money! Ridiculous.

    It's terrible that a pay to win game like this comes along and tries to ride the legendary wave that is BotW. Shameless appropriation and not well done at that. Game is unable to sustain the level of fun for very long, even at early stages, because it is rather bland. You're better off playing BotW again.

I thought this was an accident, so I purchased it again. On the store, the purchase showed the 'first time bonus' as if nothing was ever purchased.     They still haven't fixed Monas C1 after 2 years. The devs don't care about bugs unless they reduce their profit. Just shows how much the devs don't care about the game or the community.

    The game starts out great with fun game play, a wonderful aesthetic, and smooth consistent progression of your characters. Once you get out of the prolog though you realize all of the smoothness you experience then was a bait and switch when you hit the hard timewalls where the game asks you to wait weeks to level characters or pay money to shorten it to days. This game has so much potential but it is just completely eaten away by incredibly predatory mobile mechanics that just feel tacked on to the rest of the game.

    I can live with the TERRIBLE gacha rates and the poor value for money spent there, but I cannot recommend to anyone a game that actively discourages you to play it.    … Expand

    IF YOU ARE intending to play this game with friends, it is worth mentioning that the co-op system is absolutely riddled with glitches and feels unfinished. You will not have a pleasant experience playing with friends. Treat this game as a singleplayer game. A lot of people have a misconception that this game is a MMORPG, however it is NOT one and will NEVER become one.

    My biggest complaint is that the company behind Genshin Impact (miHoYo) completely disregards their playerbase and feedback to the point where it is quite clear that they just DO NOT care. You should know that whatever suggestions/feedback you send to miHoYo or their staff will go unheard for the sake of continuing to milk their playerbase's wallet. The surveys in-game are purely Public Relations purposes and have no meaningful contribution to improving the game. There is no communication between the devs, PR team and the playerbase. The staff and devs do not listen to player feedback and makes it quite clear that they will not be fixing any of the issues any time soon. miHoYo uses predatory monetization tactics. They even go as far as scripting fake "leaks" to keep their playerbase on the edge with false hope. The only things that have been confirmed is information that was already in the closed beta testing. Everything afterwards is just empty promises with the intention of stalling their playerbase. miHoYo carefully manipulates their phrasing and wording to deceive players.

    - Primogems - Primogems are a form of in-game currency. At the start of the game, the world is filled with chests that reward the player with primogems as you open them. However, you come to realize that these chests DO NOT respawn. Your influx of primogems quickly runs DRY. The only way to obtain primogems is through purchase with real life money and/or doing your daily commissions (which only give you 60 primogems per day).

    - Gacha Rates - The gacha rates are abysmal. Definitely the worst gacha system by far. Your chances of getting a 5* star character is incredibly low (0.6% chance). You will have to spend about $200+ USD to get one. If this was not bad enough, there is little-to-no ways to obtain primogems by simply playing the game after Adventure Rank 35. (You need 160 primogems for a single pull)

    - Events - Do not even get me started on these events. These "events" are tedious with little rewards. These events are recycled from the closed beta testing (the developers have not even polish them since) with a glitchy co-op system. The rewards are not meaningful enough to get excited about.

    - Also, if you are planning to submit artwork to one of their events/contests, I suggest that you read the User Contributions part of their Terms of Service on the Genshin Impact website. Otherwise, you might find yourself at the short-end of the stick.

    - Stamina System AKA Resin System - This becomes a huge problem later on in the game. If you are looking for a long-term game that you can consistently play, then this is not the game for you. The game becomes nearly unplayable as most content become blocked by the Stamina System later on. This game is heavily geared towards casual mobile players who log in once a day to finish their daily tasks. As this game is being advertised as a multi-platform game, this is extremely disappointing. This game at its core is more reminiscent of a mobile game with a terrible and unrewarding gacha system.

    These are just a few of the many issues with Genshin Impact and miHoYo. I advise anyone who wants to try any game by miHoYo to play with caution.    … Expand

Ты либо открываешь 60+ сундуков чтоб открыть 1 молитву и повысить ar (сундуки респавнятся очень долго, а еще и рандомно) Либо прокачиваешь персов/ar за смолу (максимум 8 заходов в подземелье в день). Как это все ускорить - закинуть деньги. Если оценка игры будет падать - я буду только радоваться, ведь тогда,Я понимаю что игра в разработке, но после 35 ar геймплей просто замирает.     I have put in around 90 hours into this game and reached the endgame. So for the strong and weak points of the game:
    Strong:
    - Amazing graphics - Beautiful world - A lot of team combinations to experiment with. - Fairly interesting story Weak points: - Characters are split into 4 and 5 star categories ( 4 stars are a lot weaker than 5 stars, and the permanents 5 stars    I have put in around 90 hours into this game and reached the endgame. So for the strong and weak points of the game:

    - Beautiful world
    - A lot of team combinations to experiment with.
    - Fairly interesting story

    Weak points:
    - Characters are split into 4 and 5 star categories ( 4 stars are a lot weaker than 5 stars, and the permanents 5 stars characters are weaker than the 'exclusive' 5 stars, which are available for 14 or 30 days to claim ).
    - 99.99$ USD gives you 30 wishes ( 3 times 1.6% chance of obtaining a 5 star character or weapon ), while a guaranteed 5 star item requires 90 wishes ( approx. 300$ USD ).
    - Every character has 6 'constellations' ( adds new perks to their spells or levels them up ). To level up a constellation you need to get the character once and then obtain him 6 more times to max out his constellations. ( If you get your 'exclusive' character every time you make 90 wishes that means 2100$ USD to max a 5 star character out, but that's not the case, you have a 50% chance of getting the exclusive character so it's more like 3500$ - 4200$ USD per a maxed out 5 star character )
    - The above character obtain problems apply to obtaining 5 star weapons as well ( 5 star weapons overpower 4 star weapons completely )
    - Completely dull, repetitive and unrewarding endgame.
    - Boring 'Co-Op' mode ( You can't even progress trough the story with your friends, the only things you can do is fight domains and bosses )
    - 95% of the bosses in this game are extremely easy to beat, the other 5% just kill you with 2 hits if you don't have an appropriate 5 star character with an element that counters them.
    - You can't grind the materials to upgrade your character's talents whenever you want ( you can do it only on certain days and you have to use your 'resin' to do so )
    - The resin ( which you use to obtain talent upgrade material, hero upgrade material, weapon upgrade material ) has a cap of 160 and it recharges by 1 point every 8 minutes. You need 40 resin to get the loot from bosses, which provide hero upgrade material ( after lvl 40/50 you need to kill a boss approx. 9 times in order to get the things you need ). You need 20 resin for domains ( after weapon lvl 40/50 you need to clear the dungeon 7/8 times in order to get the materials you need - the same applies for talent upgrade material as well ).
    - To level up a character you need anywhere from 10K to 100K XP - a mob gives you 16xp, quests do not give XP for your characters. You can get upgrade books from Ley Line Disorders ( 20 resin per attempts ).
    - The world bosses ( which award some of the best artifacts in game ) require 60 resin for loot ( you can loot them once a week ) and the items you get are with random stats which 90% of the time are horrible.
    - The events the game has are simply boring or annoying to do.
    - The game has patches once a month that barely add anything new and fun, just more boring and bland events with more 'exclusive' characters.

    To sum up, you would just be better off playing any other co-op or single player RPG other than this. With other games you have 'pay 2 win' with 'Genshin Impact' you have 'sell your house to be playable'.

    Essentially just a casino for children. Colourful characters, some great exploration and music, coupled with barely legal predatory monetisation.

    Recent character releases have been unfinished and buggy, the writing sketchy at best, and the recent anniversary debacle shows just how checked out the company is.

    Avoid.

    Buen juego pero muy mal aprovechado el mundo abierto con mecánicas o precios un poco abusivas y caros, mas de un año jugando y perdí mi tiempo y esperanza por cambios que mejorasen el propio juego pero unas recompensas de mierda para una fecha tan importante como el 1 aniversario fue la copa que rebaso el vaso.

    Whatever your preconceptions may be about a free-to-play gacha game made in China it’s nothing short of stunning, presenting you with a sprawling Zelda-esque open world to explore, the green grass and blue skies looking beautiful thanks to console-grade production values. Even the monetisation isn’t too in-your-face, although it does eventually start to get a bit grindy in the late game. Genshin Impact is easily the most accomplished and alluring Zelda-alike available for mobiles, easily outstripping paid-for rival Oceanhorn and its sequel.

    Genshin Impact is easily the most impressive free-to-play game on mobile. It offers such a rich world that rivals those of ambitious console and PC games while pacing its content such that mini play sessions using touch controls feel satisfying and worthwhile. There's nothing about Genshin Impact's business model that is new or praiseworthy, but it thankfully doesn't get in the way of enjoying what is otherwise a legitimately amazing open-world adventure.

    Genshin Impact is an amazing open-world adventure that draws heavily on both its Breath of the Wild and anime inspirations to create something truly special. Even if the gacha model introduces some undesirable level grinding deeper in, the excellent combat, addictive exploration, and beautiful world make this one of the most exciting games I've played all year.
